Looking for the stealthiest vape known to man.

I've been getting alerts about this thread for almost two weeks and just now realized I started it, haha. Sorry! My boss has compromised. No vapes in the building, but as long as it stays in the car I'm ok. There's a lot of useful info here for people in a similar situation though.

Even after the compromise was reached I was still kind of interested in something tiny, so I ended up getting a Moloch by El Diablo Philippines. The size is great, but I really should have gotten a clone first for a test drive. Turns out mechs aren't my thing. Single battery mechs anyway. I can get my kind of vape from them, but I'm swapping batteries every two hours. First vape-related purchase I've regretted.

JDTech Stingray X in 18350 mode with Adler Industries Mikro RDA. There are a few mods/atty combos that are a couple millimeters smaller in 18350 battery format (the Fortune mod with the Lepton RDA for instance), but they don't look as good or vape as nice imho.

ModInFrance_Gecko_mod_with_A7_RDA_zpszxs24bwe.jpg

That there is a ModInFrance Gecko mod with an A7 RDA sans drip tip. I use that rig to vape in situation where I really, REALLY shouldn't vape because it looks so much like a pen, and produces very little vapor by today's standards.

Works great with high nic, overly flavorful juice formulations such as the ones that were commonly available 4 or 5 years ago - they had to push the nic and flavor contents for crappy Boge cartos, Protanks or CE4/5 clearos to produce a somewhat enjoyable vape back then.

Vintage vaping baby!

Tried the Von Earl and the Juul. I got tired of dealing with dry hits or , fiddling with expensive pods. I needed something really tiny and not expensive. Instead of looking for the newest stealth vape I decided to go retro. Found this Ego One mini. Larger juice compasity then the pods 1.8ml, more battery life 850mah, with a rebuildable RBA, (CLR coil). Threw some nic salt ejuice in there and it's perfect for work.

Oh man, tell me about it. I'm all about retro vaping lately. I regularly rummage in my boxes of old vape stuff and dig out neat vape jobs from yesteryear that I had totally fogotten about, that are still perfectly serviceable.

Here's what I dug out yesterday:

It's an Ego 350 mAh with a carto and a beauty cone.

And that's a Joyetech Evic v1 with the 18350 tube option. 11W of powah baby!

I think it's funny how vape gear becomes "old" after 6 months. Actually it's sad, the market is soo full of crap being pumped out now.
So there I was trying to find the solution to my "stealth" vaping with the latest and greatest on the market. Could have saved a lot of money and headaches if I had given this "old" device a try 6 months ago.

I'm not sure I fully agree with you there. I mean sure, the vaping market is ultra-saturated, there are a lot of me-too features, and really crappy "innovations" from those companies that do try to innovate to get ahead of the competition. All in all, it all looks very samey, but I see a lot of very small incremental performance increases - both in mods and in atomizer designs. Things don't look that different from 6 months ago, but wait 2 years and suddenly you realize your 2-year old hardware isn't quite as good as today's stuff.

Of course, if you dig out atomizers and mods from 3 or 4 years ago, the difference is even more striking: sure they work, sure they can keep you off cigarettes as well as the best gear of today. But boy do they perform like shit compared to today's stuff that costs 3 times less. Yet back then, they were the best thing since sliced bread, and they were nothing short of amazing compared to even older hardware!

Having said that, as far as stealth vaping is concerned, it doesn't really matter because ultimately you're limited by battery size and current capacity. I reckon the smallest you can go and still get a "modern" vaping experience is 18350. If you want to go smaller (14500, 13450, 10440) then you kind of have to revert to old-style vaping and enjoy it for what it is and nothing better, because the battery just isn't up to scratch. In that case, then yes, old hardware is just as good as new stuff.

I agree with some of the guys on here, the Eleaf iCare vapes are great. I have an Eleaf iCare solo which is very small and produces very little vapor.

My daughter has one and it's perfect for sneak vaping when you gotta have a hit but don't want to leave evidence. ;)
