Literally what I've been doing, I've bought all of my Voltrove tanks off of KidneyPuncher and Ebay so far.
I just got a SS Modfather with a shorty kit with (3) Lawless drip tips and series deck, postless deck, and original deck free priority shipping..... ebay $70

I just spent over $300 on parts for box mods on Ebay, Big Al's Mods and Dripp3D.

Not a single item had free shipping. In fact, I was forced to pay multiple shipping fees from the SAME seller due to some of the parts only being listed as 'buy now' instead of having the add to cart option as well. Then to add insult to injury, they deny my shipping refund, then ship it all in one box anyway.

As much as that bothers me, it's not a huge problem and this seller is where 75% of my modding shit comes from, so I can't just STOP buying from them. Oh well.

JESUS is that an Opus 200? That screen is so off center it BOTHERS me, deeply.

RIP my MF 41mm. The 510 pin, both actually, stripped out somehow overtime and now it's just a big paperweight because dude at MF can't be fucked to respond to my emails.

That just, mm.

41mm Gunmetal Voltrove is going strong still, I got serial 0099 which is pretty cool. It seems to be made differently from the SS one I had. For example, the GM version has a smaller base cap on the bottom, as the SS version overshoots the threads on the GM version if I try to mix and match parts. Also the SS version requires an o-ring around the base threads, the GM version does not. There's a LOT of little difference like that, but overall the tank seems to be made very well.

I have heard of a LOT of people getting defect tanks and shit from MF/VT as of late, glad I bought mine off of an Ebay listing. I'm really growing to despise the guy who makes these tanks, he's truly not a good person at all. He does not care about his customers now that he has tasted that almighty dollar.

I have noticed every Modfather has something different about them.... Some have different stainless steel finishes some need thicker gaskets and some work better with smaller or no gaskets around the bottom threads.....

I was a bit let down as I wanted to make a SS/GM mixed and matched 41mm Voltrove, but it's okay.

I did use those little plastic spacers, which the SS one didn't even come with, on the GM version. It was leaking until I did.

Modfathers are picky tanks..... You have to sometimes rig them here and there to get them right..... But once you figure out everything.... There is nothing better.......

I definitely still love the tank, I was just a bit put off that the GM was so different from the SS, but it's different in an almost 'updated/better' way.

I have NO idea what caused both of the 510 pins on my old SS Voltrove to strip out, as I never adjusted them or anything. So I'm hoping the better construction of my newer one will hold up better.

If anyone wants to buy a Voltrove without a deck, or with a deck that just doesn't work. I will sell it for $15.

Now that really sucks balls, I dealt with him earlier and he was great to work with. I had a couple of QC issues and he made it right immediately. Your story is not the first one I've heard of lately, sad, just very sad to see this.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the amp limit on the battery and also how much was it? did you pick the artwork?
The battery is supposed to be 100C but I feel safer saying Max 75 amps and its a Maxamps 1850mah 5s...... The Mod is $285.00

you pic everything...... The design, the fire button, the 510 and battery power....... The guy Chris just puts it together !!!

Has anyone figured out how to stop the whistling when you turn the airflow to halfway on the Modfather41?

Hello all. Just picked up a Modfather 41mm. I can guess where most of the spare orings go but the ones in the second pic clear flat round plastic rings, where do they go?

I believe the clear rings are spacers to raise the seals in case they are not snug.

Chris from 5150Mods makes damn good mods, I have three, they all work perfectly. I can't even use a regular mod anymore, these high amp lipos are the way to go. Freaking battery lasts for days in the N box, Voltrove fits like a glove.

I'm looking forward to it....I check Modfatherinc.com in the morning and in the evening.
Yep that's what ya gotta do to snag one. The build quality on my Modfather's and Voltrove's are excellent with an added bonus of decent price point.
