That's the 75w edition, isn't it? If so, GREAT mod, and that paint doesn't flake or peel -- full-metal body, so hardy as hell!

That'll be a great deal for anyone. And although I don't personally care for TC vaping, I've checked it out, and that mod does SS-wire TC very well! I mainly got that mod so I'd have a CF4 that took external batteries -- and liked it so much, I bought a 2nd one!

Then maybe an original Coolfire IV. It's only 40w, but it's also the full-metal body -- the paint will wear, with *extremely* heavy usage, but it doesn't peel or flake. All those plastic-body ones... eh... I'm Timothy Leary's brother ("reallyreally Leary" SIC!) about how well they will hold up, because, well, PLASTIC!

I have 3 original Coolfire IV, the TC 100 and another one I can't remember---and an iSub V tank. They are definitely a great work horse mod and the tank is great as well. I use them every day. The battery life gets me through a day at work. They're light and feel good in the hand. And the colors are amazing! And no chipping!
I find the larger battery of the MVP4 really appealing so will probably go that route when I decide to purchase. Plus, I like the 100 watts.
Are you talking MVP's or Cool Fire 4's?
Were they older versions or newer ones? Plusses, TC100s, 18650s?

On the other hand... I have 3 of the originals with integrated battery; one of them is more than 2 yrs old, and the other 2 are almost 2 yrs old... and all still work as well as the day they arrived. The +2 yr old one met a violent fall onto concrete, and never missed a lick, still works like a champ.
I have one more of the originals, which I bought used from someone at VU, and it's a tiny bit iffy; sometimes it seems to not work, won't fire, and I can't figure out why; when I get it home, suddenly it's working fine. No idea what conditions it faced, before I bought it from a user here.

I sure can notice the difference between my 40w device and a 70w device.
