This gold sure looks nice.
Clean and sharp looking right out of box.
Smooth threading.
NOTE: coils and RTA have bottom O-ring that grabs base rather well.
DO NOT lose them.
This O-ring could also make removing RTA more work when it removes cap before bottom of RTA.
Wasn't really an issue but was note worthy.

With this configuration (using RTA) I was able to fit right at 6ml in.
First wicking (as picture) was too thick.
Wasn't causing actual dry hits but just wasn't enough juice going through it.
Rewicked a bit thinner and the flavor really came to life.
ZERO SPIT BACK
For 95% of you, this is a good thing.
Myself, I'd prefer just a touch to get that much more of the super sweet flavoring of the great DIY juice I vape.
With the amount of flavor it is producing, I can't complain.
After 14 fills, this thing is still going strong and keeping me pretty happy.
I may have to have all four color options for my collection.

20170622_180728.jpg
20170622_180759.jpg
20170622_181145.jpg
20170622_181150.jpg

I was able to fit 6.5ml including priming coil - soaked 20 minutes (cause I forgot about it)
Vaped until showing no juice, each refill was right at 5ml.

airflow full open
.15 reading .13 (rated 50 - 260)
85 = weak flavor n clouds
90 = loads of cloud - ok flavor
100 = " "
110 = a little more both
120 = more flavor, equally large vapor
- even with the more flavor, it is like a ceramic coil at first, leaving you feel like you aren't getting enough of a hit
- This could potentially lead someone to think it is a weak hit but it isn't
- glass a little warm, vape is only warm
130 - good vapor production, a wee little more flavor, a bit warmer, still comfortable
140 - more vapor, LESS flavor, no temp change
150 - decided to let it cool to room temp first
- flavor REALLY came in, NICE.
160 - same big clouds, touch more flavor
170 - seems same as 160 but a wee bit warmer, still comfortable
- noticing a pattern here, once the tank gets warm the flavor weakens
- as soon as you allow it to cool to room temp the flavor is right where expected/desired
180 - can't say I can tell a difference between this and back to the 160 watts other than temperature
- warmer but not what I personally consider HOT yet
190 - no change but temp
200 - " "
- observation - starting at about 140 you only get about 5 or 6 good hits before the temp rises and the flavor diminishes
210 - just a bit more flavor, same clouds as last 6 wattage changes (back to 150)
220 - surprised me with a bit more flavor, a bit warmer but not hot to ME
230 - weakened flavor
235 - mod maxed but doubt the vape will get any better with increased wattage.
I've been through the entire range of power settings with this coil and can't say I found MY sweet spot.
Mostly due to chaninvaping and once the coil gets warmed enough the flavor starts to mute a little so I'd go searching for a new number instead of allowing the coil to cool a bit to get back to the great flavor it was producing.
So on one hand, self inflicted.
On the other hand, I haven't figured out why the flavor is weakening once the coil gets on the warm side.

(10 hits each setting)
quiet, smooth, only slight resistance = not overly airy
This coil lasted for 9 tank fills.
That may sound like a short life however due to my particular DIY juice that is right on par with all Smok and Ijoy coils.
I use extremely super sweet and high flavor percentage juice so it kills ALL coils within 2 day max with the exception of the Smok Micro TFV4 0.3Ω CLP2 coils that somehow last me two weeks.

.2 reading .18 (rated 70 - 120)
70 - fair flavor and clouds but nothing to write home about
80 - No change
90 - A bit of "new coil" taste but a bit more vapor production, no increase in flavor
100 - More flavor this time, with plenty of vapor
110 - Too high for this coil, starting to taste burnt
90 seems to be about the right spot for me

Be cautious when removing the coils from the tubes they are packaged in.
Watch carefully for the white O-ring that is on the bottom of the coil.
When the coil is on its way out of that tube, the O-ring can fall off.
This didn't happen when removing the coil from the base, only the tube it is packaged in.

Yeah.......I probably spent a lot more time on it than I'd like to admit.
Same with every one I've done so far.
As you know, there is a lot more that goes into a review than you'd think until ya start doing them.
With the professional layout and great write ups you do, I'm more comfortable with the pic taking and posting.
There has to be just as much time spent on the write up.
You're reviews are awesome.

I always appreciate when you share your experiences @Paratech, always best to hear from those who have tried it all.

You must have a kick ass camera too, your pics are always sooo good!

I wanna pick your brain on the Sense Blazer Pro, have you tried it and how does it compare to the original Blazer?

Don't think I've tried them all yet but certainly putting forth a good effort to get there.
haha
The camera is just a Samsung Galaxy S7, it does pretty well for me.

I'll move the Sense Blazer Pro from 9th to next and get back with you.
It's been patiently waiting for me to get to it. lol

Samsung for the last half dozen years have put forth some good cameras into their devices.
I took a few with my first gen galaxy that people asked for copies of the images to print out.

I agree.
I switched from the HTC EVO phones to the Galaxy at version 3.
I skip the even numbered ones because they tend to have issues but the 3, 5, and 7 were awesome.
After researching the 8, I am definitely impatiently waiting for the 9 in about a year - year n half form now.
Great technologies being put to use and I'm ready for them.
These days your phone is basically a computer and you simply need a dock for it to connect mouse, keyboard, large display and you're set.
They provide plenty of CPU, GPU, and RAM to accomplish your normal activities that you'd do with a full laptop but in a much smaller form.

I am still using my Samsung Note 4 and still getting firmware updates that make it work great.

I love the S7 but the thought of spending that money that could go towards more vape gear sounds insane....lol

Since I am all about technology and shiny, it is all I can do to only upgrade at every other version.
Granted when I said the even numbered ones tend to have more issues, while it is indeed true, I'm sure I'd still enjoy them but like you, I'd like to spend my $ on other toys so odd versions it is.
However if you choose the "Samsung Forever" option, you automatically get the new version when it comes out.
Even though I don't NEED to, I like to keep my old phone so I use that as justification to not do so.
lol

Who does the Samsung Forever option?

Yeah, I don't like to swap phones out every year as well. Once I have it set up like I like it then I tend to only change once it starts giving me problems.

I have had a lot of different phones over the years but this Note 4 just works so I have never felt the need to get something new.....that and I am a cheap bastard. ...lol

I just got this tank last Thursday and I love it! I did note that the RBA gives me a much bigger cloud when I use a halfway restricted airflow (but this might be because I'm doing it wrong I don't know).

The factory coils are amazing in my opinion. If they were cheaper and more readily available for me I wouldn't be as concerned with building my own.

I agree the factory coils are pretty damned nice.
If ya hit the lottery you'll never have to worry about the price of juice, coils or fuel for your car.

Yeah those factory coils are sweet. They last a ridiculously long time, especially the .2 Ohm coil.

Good review Paratech!!! Thanks much needed info.

I've been shopping the Cloud Blaster and the OSB Engine pretty hard. I've been leaning towards the Cloud Blaster because of the factories. I work 12.5 hour days an hour from home. I like the idea that if I burn a coil or wick on the rda at work I can throw on a factory to get buy until I get home or have a day off to rebuild. I like my G150s they work great for my work schedule, but the Big Babys that came with them have got to go.

Well I got mine in today. I had been wondering what the 3 tank coil break in was all about. I slapped the .20 coils in both and loaded them up with Tmaxx's. Homemade Apple Pie with a flavor boost in one, and Custard Filled Cinnamon Roll in the other. Set both at 70 watts and started chucking clouds after they were primed and let stand for about 15 minutes. The initial taste out of both was NEW NEW NEW. forced myself to kill a tank through both of them. Reloaded and now they were only NEW NEW kind of that overly clean taste thing going on. The Custard Fill Cinnamon Roll seemed to be weathering the storm a little better than the Homemade Apple Pie. The apple pie had kind of a subtle bitter or antiseptic taste to it. We were out doing a little shopping a couple of hours from home, so I reloaded the takes for a 3rd time in a 3 to 4 hour period. The custard cinnamon roll was now starting to work really well. The apple pie was better but I think it will be around tank four before it gets there. Right now after 6 tanks this afternoon and this evening I'm about puffed out.

Yeah I can't believe Ive had this tank for ages now and my 0.2 coil just won't die l, it's still going strong! Got a banana flavour in there right now absolutely love this tank except for three things

1 the base gets hot ...there's a whole load of coil mass at the bottom of the base would like to have seen an ultem or Delrin disc come with it

2 the top cap would have preferred in metal

3 I had to use my own 510 instead of the stock drip tip as it was too wide

Other than that love it more flavour than the beast but less clouds like it that way round thanks again for the review para :)
