Couple years ago I got a package from BC that had... experienced the full and glorious wrath of the post orifice.
The box included liters of both PG and VG. It arrived badly wounded and lightly bleeding.
This was in the medium size "Priority" Mail box. You know the ones...
tough as shit, once they're sealed & taped, you need a knife to get into em.
It was missing a corner and had been crushed. IT HAD TIRE MARKS ON IT!
It had apparently been the puck in a good old fashioned game of warehouse forklift hockey... or a truck drove over it 17 times.
It was delivered in a plastic bag with the Post Office's apology
stenciled on the bag. Yes, the USPS keeps a supply of printed
plastic apology bags that say
"We're real sorry but we @^*#ed your package... Here's what's left.". Not a first time occurrence evidently...
There was only a lil bit of seepage even though the box looked like it had been through a wood chipper.
Opened it up to find both bottles crushed and leaking, but also packed in freezer baggies!
Yay Bull City!!
On one of the bottles, the cap was broken into 2 pieces!!!...
... but all the PG was in the bag, I recovered it easily.
There was a pinhole in the VG bag but I got back about 90% of that too.
I sent Drew some pics of it all and asked him to shoot me a new 1L bottle cap, which he did quickly.
I told him I recovered everything but he also credited both bottles to my account over my (obligatory but minimal
) objections.
Another time Bull City replaced a buncha flavors when Flavor Art... "improved their threaded leak-proof bottle design with flip-tops.
Geez how can you not be a customer for life with that kinda service. Bull City for life!
...but' fergawdsakes BC, ya don't misspell Andria's name!
Everybody knows that!
But it's still not as bad as the black hole in Bellingham, WA. I've encountered that one more than once!
