Vape dieting

I have found that the more I vape, the less I eat. Instead of munching on snacks while watching TV, I vape. Since I have more than a few pounds to lose, I find this to be a good thing. Especially since I'll need to go on a 2-day fast later this week. The funny thing is, though, it's starting to affect my regular meals as well. I've been skipping lunch and lately even dinner has been unappealing. Has anyone else found this happened to them?

yeah I could see replacing vaping with snacking would really cut down on the calories...I think I put on alot of wieght at one time due mostly to grazing after dinner.

Since you have admitted you would like to lose a few pound's, go with the flow while it last!

After you rectal screen test (I have had those myself) just make sure you have a little something to eat during the day. Half a sandwich here and there. Cup of soup.

Things will settle down.

2 day fast? I think your doctor is screwing with you. When I had the video inspection up the poop chute I only had to fast for 1 day.

Well, one and a half days. I'm not having it until 12:30pm on Friday. Dulcolax twice on Wednesday, then nothing solid after midnight. Thursday, nothing but liquids and a half gallon of prep meds, then another half gallon Friday morning. I've had one before but it was several years ago. The prep is the worst part imo. I have a hard time drinking that much. lol

I agree that the prep is the worst part. The actual procedure itself is uneventful.

Except for the farting afterward, but they have stuff for that, too, that I'm supposed to take. lol

I wish it would, lol

But seriously, I was just put on a very restricted diet (liver disease) and can't have anything good anymore.

I'm doubling up on the candy/dessert vapes for sure. It helps a lot, but hasn't replaced meals or snacks

Sorry about the liver disease and restricted diet. I was diagnosed last year with autoimmune liver disease and the doctor said I have no restrictions other than no drinking. Which I don't drink alcohol. Hmm...maybe my doctor is trying to kill me faster.

This vendor has been around for a few years targeting folks who need a alternative to weight loss. The vendor is shady as hell though.

Hahaha, probably not - but you can never tell with some of these doctors, lol

I'm sorry about that. :( I've never been big into desserts, I'm more of a salty girl like potato chips, but I've yet to find a beef jerky or potato chip juice. ;) My go-tos these days are a lychee and butterscotch pudding, with some other fruits in-between to mix things up.

I have noticed I've been vaping more and staying out of the fridge and pantry. At least until the stomach gets to growling so bad I finally get up and get something to snack on. I've been trying to limit snaking to stuff light in carbs and calories and then only eating enough to take the edge off the growling. I'm getting enough flavor from the liquids I'm using to cut the constant grazing I was doing. One of the habits I picked up when I lost my since of taste that I never curbed when it started to return to some degree. So now I need to loose between 75 and 100 pounds. We will see how this all plays out with the vaping.

At the beginning of the year, I decided to lose weight, since I was just miserable. I didn't wanted to go on a strict diet, it always backfired on me, so all I did was just changing my lifestyle. Watched calories, portion size, replaced whole milk with almond milk, sugar with stevia, sodas and energy drinks with water... You get the idea, lost 125lbs but damn it was hard. However while my cravings for sweets and fast food were gone, now vaping all these deserts makes me want to eat them lol. Most of the time I stick with fruit flavors because of that, or add a cream vape here and there. But if you feel satisfied by vaping sweets and lose weight doing it, by all means keep at it :D

You can do it  or at least exercise restraint on how much. I have every confidence :)

I got put on a ridonkulous diet last January because of NASH and RA - went to Vegas for 4 days last June and a week in Seattle to visit family and only gained three pounds - and got that back off within a month. It's really hard on the road and with family feeding you comfort food, but it can be done.

Three pounds might not sound like much, but I'm only 4'11" and five pounds is a whole pants size up for me :(

I eat less as well since vaping. I went from 185 to 165 in the first 4 months and I've maintained it. I'm fine with it but the wife isn't very happy. Oh well.
