This is the third post now with the condensation pooling like mine was doing, I have now been running the 0.5 Coil for a day and a half and this has not happened, I have to say I think my 2.5 had better taste but the 0.5 is not bad. I really like the Crown lll and today order tank # 2 in the Blue color that color is so beautiful in the pictures can hardly wait to see it. I also ordered more coils 0.25 and the 0.5 to continue with the coil showdown lol I am going to be in Vape Heaven.

ive been using the crown 2 tank since i started vaping about a year ago and i loved it on the .8 coil. i only had 1 bad batch of coils and uwell swapped them. so ive been very happy with the crown 2 but its become near impossible to get new coils for it in Australia. uwell for some weird reason wont ship coils for it here anymore? so i was forced to get a crown 3. the problem now is, i only have a joytech single battery 75 watt mod. so im running that at 75 watts on a .5 coil.that works fine but the battery cant handle it, and i need to keep it on charge all day which is ok. i wrote to uwell askig if they were going to make a .8 for it but they said they werent, which is not fine because on 75 watts @ 160 degree temp im using 3 times the amount of juice but the hit is really great. so its a very different beast to the crown 2. if any knows were i can get .8 crown 2 coils in Australia with low postal rates ill be very grateful, or even the .8 rafeal coils would be fine. but i must say the crown 3 even though it sucks up much more juice its a really great tank.
You might consider getting a higher wattage mod. I run my Rainbow Crown lll on Mods that are rated at least to 200 watts my favorite so far is my SMOK GS 350 and my Smoant Battlestar. This is a total different beast compared to the Crown 1 and Crown ll and yes it does go thru the juice but the taste is worth it......

I think I saw ecig.com had the battlestar for the same price and there in the US. Not sure on when the free shipping starts though.

Battlestar is a great mod for the price, love mine.

I love my Blue Crown 3, it is even better looking in person, your going to love it.

Looks like we both got a dud .25 coil, I hope that was just a fluke and not the norm.

This thing is great. Hardly leaks at all. I am on the same .25 coil over 2 weeks. it should go a month at this rate. Once it broke in it went from guzzling to sipping juice! The threads did indeed get better with time as well. They are good enough. Crown was always my favorite but they really got it right this time IMO. This should be Crown 5 like Microsoft does with Windows LOL.

I had the same experience with the .25 coil, TC didn't work on anything expect the Hohm mods in xxx mode but that's cheating. ...lol. The .25 coil only lasted me about 4 or 5 days too, crapped out real quick.

The .5 has been working well in TC though.

The .25 and .5 both are said to be SS316 so they should both work in TC mode. I have heard some have luck with the .25 in TC but that wasn't the case for me, only the .5 worked in TC

I have the uwell3 as my back up, haven't used it yet. From what i can understand the range is probably on the extreme caution side of things, given the reputation the crown 2 gave them with coils. For example, my current set up is the baby beast with the T6 coil, range is 40-130w. Thats a large window. The crown 3's come with a 70-80W range, which is crazy tight. Its probably the "perfect" range im sure it can go as wide of a range as the smok T6 coils.

If i was a betting man their 10w range on their coils is just to make sure their coils perform well and last long. For me that tight range is exactly where i want to be, and i love the concept of their coil replacement system. Got about 5 more T6's to burn through on my baby beast tank and ill probably switch over.

do the seals from the crown 2 fit the crown 3. mainly the black seal in the top head screw. im getting a crown 3 tomorrow and will be trying two different flavors, and i find the flavor gets into the rubber so i change it ever time i change flavors?

No chance. The coils on the crown 3 are completely different and come with their own built in rubber seals (yes right on the coil) and utilize a bottom removal system that allows you to swap coils with a full tank of juice. Its a completely different set up than their past coils.

i have one small problem with the crown 3, the black rubber washer in the top cap is to thin. if you tip the tank over the juice come out the the two whole you pour the juice into the tank. i tried putting two washer in but its to thick, so i got the plastic bags that the washers come with the tank and cut 8 ( before i ran out of plastic) washers the same size as the black washer as best i could and put them and the crown 2 black washer (which is a bit thicker) back in the cap, it still leaks a little but much better. its a work in progress

I to love these Crown lll tanks my Blue one arrived today it is beautiful, now I need to buy a mod that it will match. I am going to be real picky on the mod . My only Blue mod is a Buzz pro and it is old and has a ugly design and old technology. My Rainbow tank has not pooled at all since I put the 05 head in it, my new .25 came today and I am just waiting to give them another chance. I will let you all know how it does. I want to use my Rainbow one because that is the one I had this happen with. As far as the Crown 2 coils the final design with the yellow insulators work pretty darn good they do take a bit longer to wick, but yes the coils before that were not very good. My Crown 1 coils always rock.

I have really liked every Crown tank to date. With the C2, my fav. Got it later after coil production was settled. Vapes great, doesn't leak at all, ever. I use a 115 TCR with those coils- probably alloy closer to SS430.

So I just finished a tank with the C3. Takes way more power. Had no issues at all running in TC with my C2 TCR- forgot to change it and just locked and vaped it dry. Flavor is on point, air too. Do like the C2's refill trough better but this saves a little height. Hopefully no leaking... want one with a 30mm diameter!

I made needle holes in a new C2 coil to help it wick, and found the cotton was packed tight as cardboard. Might vary from coil to coil. This also helps the C1 coils and seems to prevent dry/burnt to a good extent.

turns out the thin amount of juice on top of the tank inside the cap is there to assist in the vacuum, the problem i have is that i drive all day and the tank lies on its side when im not using it, which makes the juice run down the hole, if it is standing up vertically there isnt a problem, so keep it up right people.

the vacuum is there to stop juice running out the air holes like it did in the crown 2, i always thought that happened because i always forgot to close the air whole when filling, but it was because of the recess where the crown 2 was filled thus thats why its a flat surface now and thats why it runs on more power now because of the vacuum

i got my Smoant Battlestar 200w, thanks very much for recommending it to me, its taken the crown 3 to the next level. im running it at 87.5 watts and getting great flavor and a full lung hit vape with lots of cloud, not that the cloud is that important to me but its the complete vape experience. i thought i was happy with the crown 2 on the joyetech mini at 50 watts but what i've got now is far superior to anything i've ever experienced since vaping,
i am wondering though, have i got the Smoant set up right, im using a 0.5 ohm coil but its reading 0.28 ohm on the display on VW mode, it is the original Smoant were i cant change the TC if i put it on the SS mode it has no power, but on VW mode its great?

Are you 100 % sure you have the 0.5 in and not the 0.25 Please don't take this wrong I myself have made that silly mistake... I'm so sorry I have no answer, do you have a meter that you can use to check the coil ? @SirRichardRear could you chime in and see if you have any answers.

I have changed my coils just awhile ago and when I put the tank back on the Battlestar it ask if this is a new coil or the same one I just took off, is your Battlestar asking you to choose when you switch them between the 0.5 and the 0.25 so to speak ??

Should take the coil out and check the ohm rating, or try the atty on another mod to check the coil ohm again.

This is he shit! I am on the same .25 coil for about a month! Still going strong, albeit at 70 Watts. Enough for me. The threads did get smooth enough. The flavor is amazing. I have dropped it plenty and the glass did not break. It leaks less than the best tanks previous to it. I do not even close it when I fill. Which, BTW I have it only 25% open and the airflow is plenty for me. If you want clouds open it and go like 110 Watts. Then flavor will suffer probably, I have not tried it. Go get this!

On same .25 coil in TC since 5/27/17. No sign of going bad yet, in fact like new. Hardly leaks. I can't understand other people having issues but I believe them. I am using a DNA 250. Perhaps some more "basic" Mods wil not work in TC with it. Just a guess.

Still on same coil LOL. this has to be a record. No sense in RBA now IMO. Anyways, the only drawback of this Mod is if you screw it flush to your mod. The very outer edge of it will leave a light circular scratch on your Mod. For custom Stabwood and Anodized Mods that sucks. For painted Mods like the Triade I imagine it sucks worse. Although on that the 510 may just get scratched and I imagine hardly noticeable. If it scratches a painted Mod, of course all the paint will come off but it will anyways.
