The next squonker I get will be a mech. A wooden one made by someone from here. Hint, Hint...
I think I know where a couple are available, right this very moment. Dangnabbit, you are probably gonna get the one that I've been trying to figure out how to squeeze into my budget for the last couple weeks, aren't you?;)

Just got this one today!
Thanks to @MsLoud
I must say, this is a nice squonker.
Much smaller that I thought it would be but has a nice weight and feel to it.
It will definitely be in rotation.

What kind of fix? It's there a problem I need to know?

The weak point is the contact between the switch screw and the spring conductor.
You have to clean between them about once a week or so.
a bit of No ox or even wd40 in between the screw and the spring helps.
A bit of 400 grit wet sand paper is what I use for cleaning.

order some spare parts kits ffrom FT while they are available and you should be able to keep the CV's going forever.
2 different kits one for the one with the skinny switch shaft and the other has a larger switch shank. you should be able to look at yours with the switch apart and be able to tell the difference from the pics on FT.

I have 2 Coppervapes and love them both.
But improvements can be made.

I was also contemplating on picking up a brass and a aluminum Coppervapes but I need to hold off for a bit.

The aluminum is amazingly light, great carry mod. The brass? That sucker is a brick, mine is a desk mod only, never leaves my desk.

The problem is,we never stop saying "what's one more going to hurt". If you think it's bad now, just wait till your squonker gets there lol

Once it get's here, then all of a sudden, another one show's up, then another and another. I can tell the wife, "It's the only hobby I have". But I don't think it will fly with her.

Damm! Forgot how big the hammond box was. You need a belt holster to carry that thing.

Hammond cases are great except for the slight lean from the sloped sides.

My first attempt at mod making with DNA30 boards.

Oh, for sure, I had just forgotten how large they actually are. It would be like building inside a shoebox after all of these tiny enclosures I've been building.
Nice work there!

Based on something I saw on Facebook*, I'm going to try to put a BF pin in the Poseidon III RDA. They are super cheap and are basically the same barrel and airflow as the upcoming Haku RDA but with Narda/Hadaly style clamps instead of the Haku's machined in slots. It has a very flat deck and relatively high airflow holes so hopefully decent for squonking. Has anyone else tried it?

*(someone was being a bit dickish, saying the Haku wasn't original, like anything actually is, lol)

They both look like an O-atty with the clamps rotated 20 degrees...

And just pulled the trigger on the Boxer clone from Fasttech.I need professional help:p
Are there professionals that will help you buy stuff? I mean the people in this thread are pretty good enablers, but as far as I know none of us get paid for it, so technically we aren't professionals. But if you are willing to pay for the enabling...;)

I am thinking of purchasing a squonker... Molly's will be available this Saturday and thinking of nabbing one of these. Never squonked before, and I do know there are cheaper alternatives...and local (US) vendors... But the Molly...checks off many of my wants...Sexy...fits 24's easily...easy to service (clean)...any insight from you long time Squonk-a-holics would be appreciated...even if its to bash the Molly...or to suggest what you feel is better at $150 +- $20.

Thanks!

I don't know much about the Molly's,but love the look of them. I see a lot of people on the Facebook groups wanting them,so if you have the means to buy one,I'd go for it. With the higher end squonkers if you don't like them, they can usually be traded off for something else.

Ok, I finally remembered why I didn't pick up a copper vape squonk before now. It's this

Man I really hate having to unscrew this every time I change batteries.

But on the upside, I am really liking this baby. I guess if that is the worst I can come up with, I can prob learn to live with it.
