RBA deck for baby beast or new RDA?

This post may be a little all over the place but here goes.

I currently have a baby beast sitting atop my eleaf 80w ipower. I'm thinking about getting into building my own coils but I'm not sure if I want to buy a build deck for the BB or set the tank aside altogether and buy an RDA (possibly troll v2).

On a side note, I'm also thinking very hard (as in, just waiting for the wife's ok) about getting a maxo zenith and maxo v12 with which I would like to primarily use the included RBA deck.

I'm just tired of buying coil heads all the time. My question is, is the smok BB RBA good for beginners? I'm concerned about tight tolerances with a small deck and it seems to be finicky about wicking.

The only reason I wouldn't want a dripper is because my primary vape time is during my commute to and from work and I don't want to drip and drive.

You folks got and advice or insight regarding both setups I mentioned above? Thanks in advance

I like the rba for the baby beast better than the prebuilt coils.

I would definitely rather have the Zenith and Maxo V12, love my Zenith and just got the Maxo V12 yesterday but haven't had a chance to try the rta yet. The rta looks really cool but definitely not the best for a beginner. DJLsb vapes has a build tutorial for it though, watching that will definitely make it easier.

Do you find it easy to build on the BB? I imagine doing any kind of fancy builds is out of the question (double dragon stapled helix quad flipped super stove top lol) but would a basic 24g kanthal with x wraps perform as good or better than a premade coil in the cloud department?

It already comes with a build in it, just need to wick it. I was feeling lazy so I just used the build they had, just had to strum the coils a bit to get them to glow evenly. Wicking was simple enough and I was impressed with the performance, was about ready to retire the BB but now will continue to use it with the RBA. It is a standard velocity deck, one of the easiest decks to build on. Not a lot of room so you don't want to use big coils, a 2.5mm ID fused clapton would be good.

Building and wicking the BB RTA is hella easy, imo. I'm pretty much a moron when it comes to building but I can do it.

Good. Just what I needed to know. I've got Andre the giant hands and tend to be a bit jittery so hopefully I can make it work.

There's a lot of rdas with pre built coils you can just rewick too, I'm going for this option as I find it fiddly to build from scratch. I get shaky but anyway just putting the option out there :)

An RDA/RTA/RDTA is always a better choice then a sub tank with a tiny RBA head.

I wouldn't go with the Troll V2 though, out of all my modern RDAs it has the worst flavor.

Try the CSMNT, relatively easy to build on, outstanding flavor and even looks nice.

Assuming I go the pre wrapped coil route, what do you guys recommend for cloudages? I've seen aliens, hives, stapled this and that, tigers, dragons etc etc.
