No flavor from rda's

Hello everyone,I've been vaping for a couple years now and tried all types of atomizers but cant seem to get any flavor when i build my own rdas. Ive tried my friends and the flavor/cloud production is so much better with the same wire builds. Im currently using a wotofo sapor with a dual clapton build at about .46 ohms

Maybe you have too much wick if the same build in your friends rda has flavor. Guessing it is not a sapor so there is that difference, but the sapor is supposed to be a good flavor atty so it shouldn't be the atty.
Same juice as your friends?
Roughly the same power output?

If all else fails, get whatever your friend has and have him/her show you how he/she builds & wicks it.

Oh yeah, and when looking for help with a build, pictures are very helpful because so far we know sapor, dual clapton and no flavor.

Pics and details like what cotton you use, what style and metal type clapton and so on.

Cotton looks fine but .4 on ohms with 5 wrap claptons? Seems awefully high with such few wraps you may be getting them to hot 60w is prolly max. If i was doing a 5 wrap normal clap it would be 24g core wrapped in 36-40 which is much more ohm / watt / rda worthy

What wire gauges are those?26g?What watt type of person are you? Just not alot of people are going to respond because you state you get no flavor from the best flavor making devices out (drippers) you know what i mean? So without specifics of everything its hard to tell you whats wrong.
Not trying to dick buddy, hope to hear back.

No apology needed, just trying to get more info for everyone to help with.

Like said above, cotton thickness in the coil looks ok. Although it wouldn't hurt to try slightly less on your next rewick just to change it up.

Sapor being a top flow rda, the coils should sit as close to the top air flow as you can get them without touching the top cap. Those look pretty low compared to the top of the posts but maybe that is as tall as you can place them.

Coil placement makes a huge difference in flavor right along with propper wicking.

It could simply be that your friend is using a better juice or a flavor profile that you like better than yours.

An aggressive coil like that (compared to a basic single wire micro coil) may run exceptionally well in your friends rda if it is an airy cloud chucker but could be over powering your smaller flavor chasing rda. Not sure what rda your friend has with the same build that you enjoyed vaping on.

Process of elimination, figue out what part of your setup is different than your friends. Hopefully you find the answer short of buying the same rda as them.

Pay attention to the height of the bottom of the coil....you dont want it super high off any air flowholes....most all my set up have the coil about 1 to 2mm above any air flow holes for any bottom feed air flow.

On a side air flow such as in most rda's you want the coil height enough so the bottom of the coil is lined up to the air flow slots (excluding top air flow rda's)..You want the air flow to travel under the coil..not into it or above it.

What the ohms are dont mean jack shit for flavor so, if its a .40 then thats fine...just line the coils up properly and start low on power and work up till you find the sweet spot for the ohms you are using.

Play with the air flow if its adjustable...you would be surprised at how little flavor a juice can produce with too much air flow...you get better flavor from not enough airflow and lower power than too much air and not enough power.

Barely open up air flow and work up to a comfortable inhale then adjust power to meet its needs...if you have super wide open air flow and using low power then it may not be all that flavorful...Large amounts of air flow and low power dont work all that well together to produce flavor...its a combination listed above and of course a decent juice to begin with as well as the amount of cotton as mentioned.

Looking at your build im thinking the wire is super close to the deck posts which leaves very little air to travel upwards around the coil to the center..Too large of a diameter build can take flavor away just for that reason...Maybe try pulling the coils out to the edges of the rda but not so far the coil would hit the top once installed.
