My morning and errand setup is a simple Kangertech Subvod. It has seen me through 2 years and are my go-tos.
I use a dark, 30/70v juice in the morning. Mostly chocolate with a few drops of a fresh, almost spearmint tasting menthol.
My square .50 coils have worked beautifully. When this last coil needed changing I tried an SSOCC. I hated the difference - it was similar to ceramic, the draw was much tighter and it makes my tank hotter than hell. Granted my liquid is a tad thick but the ssocc couldn't handle it and I didn't like the taste/flavor at all. I finally had to switch back to the OCC coil.
Now I'm noticing the same issue with the occ coil (re purposed). My liquid isn't old and floats in the bottle as it should. The SSOCC coil isn't ceramic but tastes like it. The wicking holes are a tad larger than the ssocc coils even though they have one additional small hole. It too now gets hot.
Am I about to say goodbye to my 1300mah Subvods? This morning I could taste the flavor a bit more and there was more vapor. Bit it wasn't the same as last month and before that. After 2 years, I think I need a larger setup in the morning. So sad.
