Went through an old box of vape stuff, found this old school gem. Time to take a break from squonking. Fill a carto. And blow some clouds ☁️ View attachment 82143
It's amazing how vape gear that's 3-4 years old looks so dated in a short time!! Two great examples. The iTaste Vtr looks like something you would find in a '80s post apocalyptic movie! And my personal favorite, The Vape Saber! The iTaste 134. Yes I will admit I used to make light saber noises when I vaped it

Never had 808's.
But I still gotz one of these:

And I actually vaped this...a little.

(ooh, and I can tell by the color - that's Tribeca in the ibTank)

But that's so BIG. Here's my Stealth Gear from back then:
mini.jpg (carto on the right, "Nano" on the left! - anyone else vape those "nano's"??)

Raise your hand if you still own an 808 to 510 converter

Yep. Well its either an 808 or a 801 to 510 not sure both looked so similar. And I still have a brand new 5 pack of carto's to go with. Those were buried deep in my vape stash.

@DogMan, any idea how much will it cost to mail from Australia to US? I'm trying to figure out how much I need to save for the SV mini.

Must be nice if that is your view?
As for the mod and espresso looks like a great combination.
Although looking at the pic makes me very nervous. I think with such a nice mod I would probably swap the hand placement and hold the cup with my finger tips. :D

Lukkos silk update #2, it gets even softer when it's warm and the oversquonk was real today.
Lower capacity than a supersoft, partially due to the larger feed tube I think, maybe it's the 1/2ml I accidentally squeeze out of it when I'm capping the bottle after a refill.... at any rate, it won't get me to the driveway in the evening and has been retired for home use lol... I'm starting to see why the refill bottles are so popular.
It's a nice bottle don't get me wrong, but not without its own set of faults IMHO.
Worth it? You'd have to decide.
Side note:
The Typhon is a really impressive atty & I'm loving the hell out of it. It gives a different type of flavor that I've been missing in my DIY and I'm loving my ADV more than ever.

I've been using the silks for about a month. Once you find the fill level (below the metal slightly) you need they leak less at fill up then other bottles I've used. They supposedly hold only a little less than a super soft bottle, but that doesn't take into account the thicker tube.

How is the air on the Typhon compared to a side airflow RDA?

Yeah, I need to get accustomed to them for sure. Not writing them off, just going to make them my occasional bottles, at least not my work carry.

The airflow is really good considering it's top flow and hidden quite well in the cap. Even being dual airflow on a single coil doesn't bother me, and it doesn't wash out the flavor in extra air.
The chamber sits pretty low considering the height of the atty with the tip, so coil positioning is pretty easy as it relates to the air holes.

And it has yet to leak a single drop, condensation or otherwise.

I tried a single coil in my typhoon and didn't like the vape. I'm going to try again.

+1 on a copper CV :inlove:

For shits and grins I weighed the aluminum and the brass. The aluminum weighed about 222 grams (0.48 lbs) with battery, full bottle and Gorge atty. The brass weighed about 415 grams (0.91 lbs), equipped the same. So not quite twice as much, but it is hefty. That still doesn't stop me from heading out and about with the brass. Yeah, I'm weird.:facepalm:

How did you build it for single? Straight up the middle of the posts, or did you move the post around on the deck?
Straight between the posts had me worried, it wasn't great at all, but I moved the post over on the deck and I was able to get the coil positioned a bit better under the airflow. Made all the difference to me.

my bronze tmod is over 600 grams

it is the trannie shape, being rounded on all corners would have cut a bit off that
