Need some help with what to use. new to vaping.

Whats going on everyone. So this week I decided I wanted to quit cigs and went to the store on Monday night got an ecig and havnt looked back or had the urge. so that's the good news. Bad news is I kinda jumped the gun and got robbed with my starter kit.

I went down to my local vape shop and got a kangertech evod twist (1000 mah) with kanger t2 tank for 70 bucks. This is ony bad because I looked around online and for 60-80 bucks I could have gotten a much nicer set up. Which leads me to the point of the post.

I like the evod I have but I can alrdy tell its not going to be enough for me. I don't need the best of the best but I also don't want just this basic thing if im going to take this serious which it seems I am. I enjoy vaping and am sure already that I want something that's a step up from this. I been looking around at tanks and Im really digging the nautilus mini so preferably something that works well with that. Looking for a mid range to low high end mod to jump ship to as my main source of vaping and just keep this for going out and the wife. If you guys can recommend something that is good for starting off but still going to satisfy this hobby mindset I have for a while (hopeing more then 6 days which is what currently happened) I would be very thankful. Thanks in advance

Sorry im editing, just thought of something Id throw in there for a little help with current setup that I just thought of. Something when I don't hit it for 20-30 mins my first hit or 2 leaves a slight scratch in my throat like I want to cough or something. I don't yet know a dry hit or burnt out taste as im new to this. could my volts be wrong? using at 3.6. Thanks

Get yourself a variable wattage device. I used an SVD, but there are tons of them out there. Stick with the Evods for now (i'm assuming you also got the Evod clearomizers, but i'm unclear on that) (unless you already feel like getting into rebuilding) and just experiment with different resistance in the coils and different wattages on your battery.

I'm pretty new and use a Nautilus with an MVP V2. I like it. I also use the crappy iclear30 that came with the MVP in the mornings.

For me it was all about having backup and backup for the backups, lol. When I first quit, having a working vape in my hand was the important part. So, I got an Ego pen style with a reliable Smok RBC tank, The MVP with the Nautilus and iclear30 and spare coils for all.

Congrats on making the switch!
There are different levels at which each tank system operates best at.
I would say because you are just a week or so in your scratchy throat is due to using an new product and inhaling a little differently likely.
Having a sore or bleeding nose, throat, or gums is a very common issue when transitioning to vaping for most of us.
I would like Jeremy suggest you stay with a good bottom coil tank like the Aspire Nautilus in either mini or regular size tanks.
Using those in conjunction with a decent vw/vv box mod will be something you won't have to change from for years!
Feel free to contact me if you need more help!
