Do you have the latest update? Because that preset SS setting is one of the most on point presets of any chipset.

I got 5 pulls and had to fill the tank again, so I moved it over to the Red LE to make the tank last a little longer...
I was pondering adding another 510 connector to my Silver LE so I could use dual TFV12's, and spread out all that powa!!
Sort of like the Triton by Dark Ronin modz from way back in the day.
Wish I would have moved on the VC deal for $40 or whatever it was but I may have to cough up the $60 if for nothing else the chip for a diy box later on.

Yeppers. The authentics and the clones come in black, gold, and stainless.
The clone is damn good, but I managed to lose the spring-loaded ball-bearing under the airflow ring. Still works, just moves too easily. Don't know if it's because it's a clone, since the rest of it seems quite well made. I'll definitely be getting an authentic, or 2, eventually.

I think i'm more interested in buying a couple of the chips instead when they start stocking them. of course i could always buy one for 60 and take the chip out for another enclosure and turn the enclosure into a mech lol

My guess then is if the first part of your statement is true, then the later part is a done deal, hence the deeply discounted and disappearing inventory.
Unless there is a reversal of the FDA regs then I think there done making new mods.
Obsolete would only apply if there was a competing board that could do what the FSK chip can, there isn't one. $60 is not much to have a product like the G2, is it perfect.....nope, but it's performance is amazing.

Yes, mostly agreed, especially about laying cause at the doorstep of the proposed FDA regs, daunting as that must be for a fledgling company, and as your post suggest, there might be the possibility of a reversal.
Now without parsing our words too closely, obsolete also means -no longer produced- and in that context I am chagrined to see them go by the way. Oh well, and I agree, the prices were right so I'll enjoy what I have, particularly since the 5 FSK devices I have combined were about the same price as one DNA device I own, but it's also time I guess to move onward and upward ^ ;-)
ETA: I do hope there will continue to be some degree of customer support with Hohmtech, regardless of their future endeavors.

Wait for the Triade DNA250C to come out, even if you don't buy it the prices should drop on the regular 200 or 250.
I like my Triade 250 but usually only use it for tanks like the TFV12, I actually prefer the way my Finder DNA167 is set up out of the box better without having to get into escribe.
