The Peerless comes in a range of colours as well as you can see I got the black version

Initial impressions

This is not an expensive RDA it's very affordable as such it doesn't feel or look like a really quality product I mean it's not by any means awful but I'm not blown away by it if that makes sense

It's got machine oil everywhere so a good cleaning it's absolutely required

Breaks into 3 parts

IMG_1037.JPG

At first I didnt like the look of stock the stock drip tip but it's actually really comfortable to vape on

The o rings aren't very tight but they grip well enough

Paint job is weird gives it likes a glossy look even after a good cleaning it's supposed to give it heat resistence

Base is gold plated and deck has a pretty large juice well

Overall yeah not bad especially for the price point and the extras you get

Oh plus it has a squonk pin a must for RDAs I purchase ...hooray :)

What's she like to build in?

I had a horrible experience mounting coils on this

Don't know whether I was just being thick but the centre posts have one long screw which allows you to grab hold of 2 coils (above and below) at the same time ...it's was a bloody nightmare to be honest the bottom of the screw is rounded so kept slipping out when I was pulling the coil away from the post and the top one just mangled my coils so bad I had to dump a perfectly good pair of staggered fused claptons I made

The outer post screws are so far out I almost didn't want to use them by the time you have your coil in there the leg is really close to the edge of the deck which isn't going to help with wicking

Finally managed to get a pair of dragon skin coils I made mounted centrally! Yay but boy was that not fun so your gonna have to get used to mounting coils on this deck
IMG_1041.JPG

Suffice to say I don't like these posts or the layout on the deck at all

The juice well is deep and wicking was a breeze. You can fit in chucky coils in here these are 3.5mm coils

What's she like to vape?

I wasn't a fan of the drip tip for my initial
Impressions but I actually ended up using it it's surprisingly comfortable, Although spit back can be a problem its probably a mix of the coils I'm using here and when I over dripped ....using your own drip tip will for the most part rectify this

Considering how I didn't like the build deck I actually really like how she vapes the draw is really nice as is the flavour I get from it. You can drip centrally if you want no probs, and because it's got a large juice well I can manage to get a good amount of draws before having to re drip (obviously not such an issue if squonking)

Also it doesn't get hot you can chain vape on this for ages and you won't be getting burnt lips on the stock drip tip.... that paint must be doing something as well!?

Edit: I have noticed leaking underneath the base a few times now I can't figure out where it's coming from !? I.e whether this is coming from a screw or the orings aren't sealing the housing properly
Edit 2: leak is coming through the negative screw at the bottom of the base!

Final thoughts

For the price point I'm impressed with the peerless vape experience wise ...gives you loads of options, comes in a variety of colours...the thing that lets it down for me is the post system, I just couldn't get on with it, i would say its overly complex for the sake of being different and this leaking thing I'm seeing so overall would I recommend this ...hmmm well for flavour and draw I found it to be better than the vandyvape Icon But it's not as good in every other way ....I'll put this down as a maybe!

Pros

Good price
Squonkable
Great smooth draw and flavour
Comfortable stock drip tip
Can use your own drip tips

Cons

Build deck and those posts ...not a fan
Leaking found on mine

Its a pretty badass looking rda! I really like the looks of it especially the black version like you have here. I believe it was ohm boy josh that said the top post holes are for small tiny coils and the bottom holes were for big chunky coils. Is that what you get from it? When you put your lead through the top holes, and you drive the screw all the way down through to the bottom, does it just push the leads the side and hold them there? Thanks for the review man.

Yeah the top holes are for thin wires really not big chunky buggers like in my pic although as you can see I managed to get through 3 x twisted 28g with clapton through there alright lol

the thing I found first time around is that the coils get snagged and bent round by the screws upper portion rather than pressing down clamp style ...so it is kinda pushing them out of the way ...which is also the problem if sharing the same post but as I was trying to do it sort of grabs one coil leg and the other slips out

The lower part of the screw is rounded

Difficult to explain without the rambling above

So top part is moving to one side snagging the coil, and the bottom part pushes down clamping but the coil slips from it when pulled on

The outer screws work like a regular clamp on the coil

Does that make sense?o_O:confused:

I just found whole experience crap ...still once I was done (and it could just have been me) vapes like a champ great flavour from it with a lovely draw

I have noticed juice under the base when I unscrew the RDA from the mod still trying to work out if it's coming from the negative screw or slight let by from the orings which aren't tight enough for my liking

Thats actually a damn good description I can see how that would be a pain! I like the looks of this one more than the Medusa and really interested in picking one up, but if it takes 30 mins to install coils it almost isnt worth it. Thanks for the reply man thats was helpful

Agree and no worries buddy I'd also say have a look at the Rashomon and Icon RDA ....all very similar price points, and all slightly similar decks ;)

I'm getting the icon through soon so I'll be able to draw a comparison to it may well pick up the rashomon too unless I really like the icon will let you know :)

Found the source of the leaking it's coming through the negative screw at the bottom of that base! Wtf I've tightened it and it's still letting juice through very slowly ....no idea how to fix that! Not impressed with that problem

Updated review now ...

Great review @KingPin!

I love the look on the Q Mini, now I am regretting selling mine but had to to afford the G Class.

You really hit on a lot of points that I didn't even think about, very thorough and well thought out.

Thanks mate means a lot takes quite a bit to put these reviews together testing stuff my hat goes off to those who knock out so many ...I like to review at a leisurely pace reminds me I've got a few I need to put up now

Got the Druga on the go at the moment love it so far but want to build a special coil for it before I do it's proper review

I ended up getting a peerless special edition to review and so far I'm having the same love/hate relationship. Instead of this one leaking out the bottom, it has o-rings that are so tight you need the jaws of life to remove the top cap! I get a super rich and flavorful vape no doubt... but damn those o-rings!

Talking of tight orings mate try the skill rda lmao they are unparalleled! Don't use it on a mod if you don't trust the 510 coming off it that's for sure!

Anyone got a fix for this leak?
I like my peerless but it's leaking all over my brand new xfeng.. I'm afraid it's going to get in around the shitty xfeng 510 that sticks up way too far =*(

Have you got any other RDAs with a negative post screw? ....it needs a little O-ring in there or you could try wrapping a tiny peice of PTFE tape around that negative screw itself and it should seal it ...none of it should get into the atty itself cause it’s in the post directly

These are the things I was gonna try never got round to it

I have an idea! You can use the peerless rda as a water dripper in a hydroponic garden. Stick the rda into a bucket filled with the grow medium of your choice with the 510 in the medium. Use a hose to supply water/nutrients to the drip tip and let that 510 leak do it's magic. :D
