Pico 75 watt

Hello everyone, Ive a question for all of you.

A few months ago I got a pair of little VW boxes from a great member. Both work great, I use them as my "build" units, set up , dry burn etc.

The little Eleaf has its quirks but it seems to be the most compatible with all atomizers. It has an internal battery and I know someday it will stop taking a charge, etc.

The Kanger 200 (duel 18650s) is great, love how long the batteries last but most of my atties are not long enough.

So here is my question. I want to simplify things and just have 1 device. Im thinking of getting a Pico 75w , it has a few features that I dont really need, but hope I can figure out how not to have it on TC.

Im leaning towards the Pico because it being an Eleaf product I hope that the 510 connection is similar to the little Ileaf mini I have so I can use any of my atties on it.

I just hate to buy things and have them not work out and have to re sell them.

Do all you Pico owners find that it is picky with atties or pretty much problem free?

Oh, yeah, and the Pico will not accept any atomizers greater than 23 mm... and some 23 mm are tight...

Love my Pico. It's one of my favorite out and about mods. 22mm tank limitation may be a problem for some.

Great replies.... Didnt think of the width limitations. I do have some 23mm RTAs. Darn, I love the look of the Pico and the price is right and its really a great looking device if I did ever go out with it.

Oh that SMOK Treebox is a beauty, too nice for what I need.

I might wait till I find a beater that works so I can try it out.
I have this little one that works great for a building station.

It has its quirks, such as it decides to change its wattage in a second. Or locks, and of course shorter battery life span. Might just find another one used or on sale someday.

Funny, before getting to the end, I was going to suggest a regular Istick - they just work.

I have a few of the old 60 watts ones that are of a similar design and they will fire anything

People cap on Isticks, but I think they are a great bang for the buck if you don't need anything fancy

I might go ahead and just get the little iStick 30 , heck like you said, it works and having a back up never hurts.

Might put the little Kbox 200 in a flat rate with some goodies and put it in the classifieds for the price of sm flat rate.

Loved my IStick 30 watt. Wished I never would have traded it. Seems funny that as far as I could find the Pico kit with the Melo 3 tank is cheaper than a 30 watt IStick by itself. Aliexpress has the IStick 30 in all colors for $30.00 shipped.

LOL, I saw that too.... I found them both at FT. But the 30watt is in backorder due to being older and in low supply..... Its 23.00 and the PICO is 25.00.

You CAN run tanks larger than 23mm on the Pico. All you need to do is put a heat sink which is thicker than the battery cap on it. Of course it will overhang the Pico, but it will allow you to run whatever size tank/atty you'd like.
I have a couple Picos as I really love how small they are. They're just great little mods and extremely reliable.

EDIT : A vape shop in my area had a heat sink that works like it was made specifically for it. The height is perfect for lifting attys just enough to clear the cap.

I've been chain vaping my pico 75watt for the past 6 months. It drives my preferred rta serpent mini single coil at 33-35 watt.

That mod rta combo is sooo cute.

My two 23mm tanks fit my Pico. It's a very good device and what makes it even better is you can put ArticFox firmware on it. For $25 you can have a device with the features and performance near what a DNA mod has.

The Pico has been a great mod. Mine is used daily. No need to mention the only draw back is the limitation of atty size. It has been said enough. Heat sink is one way to go but I chose to get a few 22mm atty's for it.
If I just need to set something up, burn it ect, ect, I too have a istick 60w that does a great job for me. That is pretty much it's use now a days.

Yes, it is easy to put in VW mode and it will stay there.
-3 clicks on the fire button (while the device is on)
-use up/down buttons to scroll until you get to wattage mode
-click fire button once to select the mode (or just wait about 8 seconds) .

You are now in VW mode. From there, simply adjust your wattage to where you want it using up/down buttons.

Easy peezy.

BUT I don't suggest a vaper (who is a former smoker) to ever have just one device. Devices fail, break, get lost, etc. Same with tanks. A couple mods and tanks is best to have in rotation, in my opinion. Next think you know, you're back a the store buying a pack if cigarettes!

For $25.00 I might pick up another one. I would like a extra one around that I could let someone use if they want off the cigarettes and not sure Vaping is for them. This mod worked great for me to do that don't know why it wouldn't for others.

Update, getting another little iSick 30 (trade) but in the process, I found a great deal on a NIB SX Mini S class ( with 1 year warranty ) for 99.00.

I sold my beloved P3 Stealth to justify it. Im probably going to kick myself a few times , already am.

I made sure YIHI will cover the warranty even though its old stock.... Im just glad it does NOT have TC.
If anyone is interested PM me, they have the black and silver and the black and grey instock.
