Staple Coil Builds - Recommendations

Hi Folks,
I've been vaping since 14 months and into building since 6 month. Doing my way through Microcoils, parallel Coils to claptons, fused Claptons, then staggered fused claptons and finally three/four/five core Aliens, so I did my basics step by step.
Since I first started playing around with Ribbon I did my first staple coils.

I recently fell in love with my framed staple, I did with 8 ply 0.3/0.1 Ribbon 28ga Frames and fused with 35ga. 7 wraps 3mm ID, clocks out at 0.15 Ohms sitting in my Tsunami 24 RDA on a Smok Alien. Maybe this wire combination sounds a bit weird (thin frames) but this combination worked best for me. Vaping at 85 watts with max vg gives me the vape and flavor I want.

I only use Nichr80 for my builds, since I can't vape on kanthal because the aluminum mutes my taste buds (no joke!) and stainless tastes metallic for me.

So now my question is, I want to play around a little more and I would like to get some suggestions for theses builds:

Staple staggered fused Clapton
Framed staple Alien wrap
Half staggered staple

Could I expect ANY advantages compared to the normal framed staple? Like I've seen on PureCoils CrazyChef complains that the framed staple is the ultimate flavor build.
So these coils mentioned are a bit complicated, so would they be worth the effort?

And by the way.... Did anybody ever tried to make a staggered fused with alien wrap?

There is definitely an advantage to learning Framed Staple Aliens, the alien wraps wick juice fantastically and keeps the entire coil wet. Plus alien wrapped coils like to stay cleaner longer (for that reason) which is nice.
I don't have a shot handy of regular framed staple Aliens but you get the idea haha. My go to is 10x.3mm/2x28/38 or 40. They're my go-to build when I'm just looking for an amazing vape. I've done half staggered dual core aliens, and Raymo has done some ridiculous staggered alien variations

Staggs and stagger fused definitely have different properties. You'll just have to make some and find out.
And 28g is about as large as you can go with 0.3mm. 30g frames will ramp faster. It's your wrap that's huge.

Half staggerd staples and full staggers are going to be about the same but you can ditch a frame and get a much faster coil without loosing anything really.
Throwing an alien wrap on it will also make a much different vape.
But it doesn't need to be a staple to rock really hard. If you're limited on power you can make a wide coil but a thin coil and still get awesome results.
This is 10x 32g:

I really admire your skills Especially the Hybrid ssfc with Double Spacing in the middle.
Concerning my wrap you're right, gonna use 36-38 GA next time and probably 29Ga for the frames, but 10ply ribbon instead of 8.

By the way, would the Framed Staple Tsuka be worth a try?

Define "worth a try". Any techniques are worth a try in my eyes...well, except braiding.

So After Wasting some feet of my ribbon and trying and cursing and driving myself nuts I found my coil!

Tried some Staple Helix and what can I say... I thought the framed staples were flavour monsters, but the helix are definitively another level. Hadn't expected that. Think I will perfect them as good as I can and maybe I'll stick to these for a while thanks to everybody for the help.

You mean which Kind of cotton? I Use regular Muji Pads with scottish roll technique.
I use a whole pad for two coils.

Since These coils are quite thick it really helps when the cotton is as tight as possible within the coils, so the juice is kinda pressed into the hundreds of gaps and crannies.

Without wick, These coils can hold up to five-six Drops Alone. Absolutely Amazing.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't know that you can stuff cotton in any coil and it not burn.

It can burn , if its in there too tight it will burn in center ,, its got to be in there packed tightish
but enough to allow it to pull and slide in out but not too loose or really tight since
cotton expands when its saturated ,

where as synthetic cotton- Rayon wont expand like cotton, so needs to be a little more used,
Theres different types and blends of cotton some prefer one others prefer the other

Then there the Rayon lovers which works well in certain Atomiser better than cotton

Whats the best wattage for alian coils

It depends on a lot of things...

It depends on what gauge the core wires are

Or whether you have a single or dual coils

And how much airflow you have, and whether you like vapor cool or warm

And your own preference for long, slow inhale or fast blast of vapor
