Here it is, the newest gimmick.. err.. tank, from our favorite industry tweaker (he can say what he wants, dude is clearly on something) called the Pharaoh RTA. As he's clearly not that creative with names.

Specs: 25mm
Capacity: 4mls with a 3ml extension for 7mls
Decks: Postless, Pharaoh clamp style, Velocity, Inde Duo style and Wotofo Serpent style
Airflow: Top and bottom airflow ('true' top airflow)
Price: $30-$40
Color options: 2-Tone Stainless & Black, 2-Tone Gold & Black and Solid Black

I may check one of these out as the multiple deck options offers a versatile device, but to me personally this thing just screams gimmick.

The clamp system looks interesting. Do you think deck 3 is for single coils too? I can't make out deck 4.

The stock deck is the same deck the Pharaoh Dripper Tank uses with spring loaded clamps, it doesn't seem ideal for fitting anything more than single coils unless they're quite small. The other ones are the infamous Velocity style we all love, an Inde Duo style that seems pointless due to it being so similar to the Velocity deck, a single coil Serpent style deck and the last one is a postless deck.

Not sure why it seems any more "gimmicky" than 90% of the other stuff out there. IMO, if this thing is just half as good as the original Pharaoh, it will still be a really good device. I will enthusiastically be ordering mine as soon as it's available.

Everyone here probably knows how much I love the pharaoh by now. So this is right up my alley. Very much loving the gold as well

The original deck is probably the best but I'm also really loving deck 4, seems like interchangeable decks are the new thing for 2017. love the extension as well. 7ml is a perfect amount for me. the 4.5 isn't bad either

the top air portion is pretty unique as well

I've put dual 3mmID triple cores fused claptons in my Pharaoh RDTA no problem and a single 6.3mm coil. Both had room to spare as well

I would say that the default deck is the best for single coils and I would choose the postless deck for duals.

Tbh not that interested in getting this RTA, wish they would just make a Pharaoh RDA with a deeper well, without that unneeded juice control thingy and the ability to use friction fit 1/2' drip tips.

Said ideal, not "only possible". I know several people who own the Pharaoh DT and say every dual coil build they've tried paled in comparison to single coil performance on that deck. 3mm is small dual coils. I have dual 4mm, 8 wrap fused claptons in a Troll RTA right now. My point is, no GOOD dual coil build, at least in my opinion, can fit on that deck. 3mm dual coils is not a good build in my opinion, 3mm coils are too small to produce anything I personally need in a vape. Also the deck is clearly smaller than the one on the Pharaoh DT, RT can say what he wants but I'm not blind.

It's a gimmick because it has FIVE decks. Multiple decks aren't a problem, but some of those decks are an obvious cash grab. Like the Inde Duo style deck that is identical to the velocity style. Another excuse to get the customer to spend MORE MONEY. Any tank with additional top airflow, true or not, is slightly gimmicky because the way airflow works, the air that comes out IMMEDIATELY gets sucked right back into the chimney without hitting or just barely glancing the coil.

This thing is gimmicky as hell and it's easy to see. Does that automatically make it bad? No.

I do not hate this tank, in fact I have one on pre-order, just have a few issues with some of the gimmicky features but overall it DOES seem like a good tank.

well i know how you vape ;) and your definitely not in the majority of people that would buy this. may not be the item for you. but many of us vape under 150 watts and you can suffice that easily in this. I could try to throw some 4mm ID coils in the pharaoh for shits and giggles. I still need tor review it so why not give it a try and see if it fits ;) I'll even take a few hits at 200+ and see if it can handle it.
Wire type plays a factor too.

Hey man I think it's doable. I ordered one for a reason. I just think including multiple decks OF SOME OF WHICH ARE POINTLESS, is a bit gimmicky and middle fingerish.

Otherwise it's all good, I want one.

Let me elaborate. The velocity deck and the postless deck, I can agree with the inclusion of those as purchasable extras. Those are good decks that a lot of people like. However, the Inde Duo and Serpent decks seem like cash grabs because you have to buy them individually and I see nothing new they could add to the vape you couldn't get off the other available decks.

It seems like those decks were only included to bleed money out of 'gotta collect them all' types of vapers. Also top airflow just makes me mad most of the time because I know the laws of physics prevent it from working ideally.

I see it as variety. lots of people like different decks. many won't but an RTA if they don't like a deck so by offering different styles they can sell to any and every builder. I don't care for deck 2 or 3. I like 1 but i have so many of them i don't need another RTA with that deck. so 4 to me is the best additional but i really like the one it comes with best. As far as 3 goes, not that it's bad, but for single coil the included deck is better IMO. but others may see it different.

How does dual airflow work?

The bottom airflow is simple to understand. Comes in the side, up the channels, hits the bottom of the coils. Perfect.

But the top airflow is like on the Griffin. Just dumps new cool air into the already flavored and heated vape.
IMO, it didn't work on the Griffin and this design doesn't look any different.

Sent from somewhere in Vietnam.

Though I'm intrigued, I am more into RDAs.
So I'll wait for your review and the RDA vs. RTA.
It it performs like the pharaoh RDA but with a bigger capacity I'd be impressed and praising the balls out of it LMAO
If it even comes close to the RDA version it will be an amazing RDA

Wonder why they decided making it an RTA with a new design besides the deck, instead of just adding a tank below the deck using the original design, making it an RDTA.
LMAO no idea. if the pharaoh had a 7ml tank under it instead of the 2ml tank it would be perfect as is

I thought I was done getting tanks for a while. Absolutely think iJoy Exo is the tank of the year. Simply amazing tank but curiosity has got the better of me. I burn through 2 - 3 tanks a day on the Exo with the 6ml cause it's been amazing always want to see if anything can stack up.

Vapordna has the Pharaoh in stock $29.99 ss/black and black.
I ordered one yesterday and got my shipping notification. Can't wait! I have always preferred single coil set ups but the build decks were always too small to get a good sized coil in them. This looks like it should work great. I can care less about the top air flow. What attracted me was the build deck and the wicking. Being able to put extra cotton in the juice slots without choking it out looks promising. And at $29 it's worth a try. Also the the ability to adjust the juice capacity and the size of the tank without extra purchase is also a nice feature.

I prefer single coil also. So this is a must try. The only niggle is the driptip. Wonder why Rip designed it that way? The additional purchase postless deck looks interesting too! I'm using the Aromamizer Plus postless deck with a big single coil.

@Kevin2112 let us know how you like it. You will get yours before I get mine. I ordered with cvapor in China before Vapordna had it in stock.

If u like postless deck u should consider getting a Petri RTA, thats basicly the same deck :)
Great flavour, only downside is i keep filling it

That's the only reason I didn't get it, 2ml.
24mm is releasing soon ;), Not sure if the juice capicity is any bigger.
But there are made some improvements on the deck over the 22mm.

I dont really mind to filling it a little more often, getting a great vape experience in return

Wow it's only just releasing? Back when the 22mm released it sounded like the 24mm was right on the heels but ok something to look forward to. I have the Serpent Mini & knew better than to get the Merlin Mini but there were rumors that they would make an extension chimney for separate purchase so I caved. Only Augvape decided not to make it. 2ml is ok for quick errands or trying a new juice but for everyday all day for me not so much.

The clamp system looks interesting. Do you think deck 3 is for single coils too? I can't make out deck 4.
Deck 3 looks like a single coil banger guy. Deck 4 looks like a postless guy, where the coils sort of "drop" in, legs pointed down.

But yeah, this RTA looks freaking AWESOME! I am totally pulling the trigger and ordering one of these guys...and I am going to grab a 2nd deck, most likely one of the dual coil guys, either Deck 1 or Deck 4. The standard deck that the RTA comes with looks like the optimal single coil banger guy, and obviously dual coils CAN be done on it, but single coil is optimal IMO. I think Deck 4 will be my dual coil banger guy of choice, as postless is easy to build on, and it looks like the deck that will reduce the chamber the most, therefore amping up the flavor the most. Velocity is just boring AF, Deck 2 looks wonky AF to build on, having to bend the legs all weird like to accommodate for the bottom airflow holes. Deck 3 seems like a far inferior single coil banger guy when compared to the standard spring loaded clamp deck it comes with...but eh, to each their own right?

To anyone who has this and is using it, please reply with your thoughts, flavor quality, overall performance, vapor output and density. Basically any and all input is MUCH APPRECIATED! Thank you in advance! <3

Best postless deck atty is the CSMNT RDA (IMO). Obviously, that's an RDA, and we are talking RTAs here....but yeah, you can't beat the flavor output of the Cosmonaut...it's just amazeballs...and it is the easiest postless deck I've ever built on. Not only is it easy to BUILD, but wicking it is a breeze...As our buddy RIP would say....Easy Peezy what a SLEEZY! LOL!

Ok

Rip wicked his with Japanese organic cotton sheets & doubled up the wick on the wick channels. I wonder how we will wick with rayon? Usually we thin the tails, uhm...
