Everything in the water wants to eat you or kill you.
Maybe you need a bigger boat.

You said you were a photographer, right?
What kind of work keep you busy there? You have a studio or are you doing some kind of other work there?

Your islands are very pretty, but the "salt life" doesn't appeal to me. Everything in the water wants to eat you or kill you.

I do weddings and corporate events and stuff like that. And no, not everything wants to eat you I haven't heard of any shark attacks or any such incident ever. Except for one or two barracuda attacks in the night when people use lights.

You don't hear of attacks, because dead people tell no tales! Lol. :D

I'm surprised with the place you live, you aren't doing landscape photography and selling larger prints to people. What kind of equipment do you use? I would assume Nikon since you do photography, but I hear some like Cannon and other brands.

You don't know of anyone with a Nikon 600 body in good shape, that want to sell it cheap do you? :giggle:

Hey!
I LIKE it here, I'll have you know. :D

When everything is not covered in white stuff it's gorgeous. Then God put powdered sugar EVERYwhere and ruined it.

Some people are just not equipped to be tough enough to enjoy the beauty here. ;)
My wife isn't a fan of the cold either, but I'm not moving to Texas or Oklahoma.

Haha! I'm good till about 40°, but 4° is downright painful. Besides I prefer the beauty of the beach and bayou. :)

I used to work outside all day, every day, until 2 years ago.

I survived at pair of days that were 45 below with the wind chill, and worked 8+ hours each day in it.

I was specifically designed for warmth

Thing is, when it "warms" back up to zero, you are sweaty and think it's shorts weather.

:bliss::giggle:
I've noticed that already!
We had a few weeks of straight single digits and just under 0. When it got back up to the low 20s, I was rolling around in shorts and long sleeves. Then the wind started and it got cold again.

Where I live, it doesn't pay to own a snowmobile unless you drive to the UP of Michigan to use it. Snow doesn't stick around long enough to get use of one.

Thursday NO snow on the ground. Friday AM 2 inches of snow in 2 hours. By noon it was raining, and misted all night, with fog from hell until this morning. Snow is about gone now.

We had 12-15" the other day, it started to melt until yesterday. We got another 3-4 inches. Now it all looks like a snowcone blew up outside.

LOL. A buddy who lived in San Miguel his whole life came to MN when we had a 20" snowstorm. He asked me how we deal with it all. I handed him a bottle of Makers Mark Bourbon.

When a steer or cow get bloated, you don't give them milk. ;)
You have to shove a tube into their stomach and drain the gas and give them mineral oil, OR insert a drain valve through their side.

Are you bloated EJ? I can install a valve bro!:D

It works for me
Been farting since yesterday haha
