Ive got this pretty neat cloud beast... I don't know a damn thing my boyfriend does everything for me. I'm having leaking problems.. Its not any of the seals we replaced those first. Anyway the leaking comes from the airflow holes I've noticed it leaks more when its tipped on its side or if someone used to a rda accidently blows into it. Is there anything I can do to stop it from leaking? I travel for work and it makes storing it a pain in the ass.

Welcome to the VU.

Usually when tanks leak it's the top seal around the glass or in the case of a top fill, that seal is also a source of air leaks.

If you don't hold a vacuum above the liquid it will leak through the coil.

Hold the tank upside down for a while and see if anything leaks out the top and that's your air leak.

In the Beast there's the glass seal the fill port seal and a gasket were the top screws to the coil. Any of those could be your problem.

The gasket at the bottom of the coil is also a place for leaks. It doesn't take much for air to leak in and trash the vacuum.

Got to be a bad or missing o-ring. There are no magic juice-leaking portals on them. I've looked. Lol

Sometimes it's the simple things. Make sure the coil is primed and screwed securely into the base. Tighten the entire tank too, and don't overfill!;).

I had the dude at the vape shop in my town replace the coil and check it out too... Its not a o ring it couldn't possibly be. I held it upside down for a while and nothing happened not a single drop of juice came out... As for over filling I don't do that either. I can't figure this out I may have to just buy something else... Bummer

It could only be:
1. Bad/broken o-ring
2. Top fill isn't closed properly
3. Coil isn't tightened properly
4. Juice is too thin (high PG)

Lots of users have reported leaking from the black seal at the very bottom of the coils - where the coil wires stick out and ground to the base. I haven't had a problem in that area myself however; there are posts and YT vids showing how to 'fix' this by tucking the coil wires carefully back under the seal.

If it's just a little wet but not juice running out, it may just be condensation building up in the base. That's normal.

To narrow the search a bit:
If it only leaks when full, it's probably the o-ring between the coil and the chimney.
If it still leaks when half-full and less, it's either the o-ring between the coil and the tank base; or the black rubber seal between the coil base and coil body; or the coil itself.
Last resort is a cracked tank base.

Wish we could be more helpful, but only so much we can do through here.

Thank you gakudzu you've been very helpful I'll take all this information to my boyfriend when I get home.
Good to know it could be worse with the juice consumption lol does yours burn through coils like a mofo too? (I run it at 70w all the time)
I love the tank its always tastes good and its far less annoying than dripping cotton all the time. When its fixed it'll be my favorite again.

When I first got it I put a T12 coil in it, and it lasted through nearly 120mls of juice, @120-130w. Now I'm using the rebuildable deck with my own coils. At 1 tank a day, I would expect them to last a couple of weeks at least. Maybe you aren't opening the airflow enough? These things seem to prefer a lot of air, so as not to overheat.

I'm like really far behind im super new at this so I really don't know anything lol but one thing I do know is to keep the airflow open all the way. I go through a coil in a week. I haven't even used the rebuildable deck.. Maybe I'd like that more. But I was told that if I didn't know what I was doing not to mess with it. My boyfriend has a thing to build and test coils so how hard could it be?

Could be your juice. Dark and/or really sweet juices can shorten coil life.

The rba deck should have coils already in it. They are decent coils. Biggest thing is wicking them properly.

It doesn't have anything in it. I didn't buy it brand new I got it off someone with my rx200... I got a pretty good deal but now I'm wishing I bought it new lol. The dude that had it probably took them out. I do use a juice that is a golden color maybe that's it. Ill try a lighter color next time. As for the sweet flavors I'm not giving those up I love the fruity stuff

Do you know the PG/VG ratio for your juice? Some of the thicker(high VG) do not wick well/fast enough.

Also check the chimney oring.

+1 for this I had a big baby beast that had an original that was slight smaller than one preinstalled that caused major leaking. Another thing you can try is try screwing the top of the coil into the chimney first instead of screwing it into the base first. These 2 things got rid of my leaks.

All of my Beast and Baby Beast tanks will leak from the white gasket at the top fill if left on their sides. One of my Baby Beasts had one of the two supplied glass cylinders out of spec: not square on one end, and the inner diameter was too large to seal on the bottom gasket. I noticed leaking, and bubbles coming from one spot on the glass when vaping.
