So I'm back to the vaping world. I used to have a Sigelei Fuchai 150w TC but quit and gave it to a friend. I'm always hitting my friends vapes so I'd like my own again. Looking for maybe around 100w mod, don't care if it's TC or not. I'm also looking at the cleito tank or the baby beast. Suggestions for mods?

Hey Morgann15 , I'm thinking about the mod to recommend as I'm typing this response to you but as far as the tanks are concerned , I would recommend getting yourself the big Baby Beast tank because of the fact that you can also use the coils from the Baby Beast , they're compatible. Now as for the mod I would recommend getting yourself the SMOK G-PRIV KIT it comes with the TFV8 Big Baby Tank and it's a 220 W TC Mod. It's a very affordable Kit and it is also Touch Screen which is really cool. You can't go wrong with it for the price range between $90-$99 dollars. Hope that helped !!

I recently picked up an alien and I've been enjoying it. They sell them in kits with the baby beast tank. Places seem to have the kits for $50-60. I've not used vapenw but they're u.s. based I think. They've got the kit for $56 right now.
Just be sure if using that particular site to check the options, they call the mod by itself a 'mod kit' and the 'full kit' is with the baby beast. It adds a few dollars to the mod and brings the price from $50 for the mod alone to around $56 for a few different colors. Just don't accidentally choose the 'mod kit' and think you're getting the tank with it for $50.

off that list i'd probably say alien or battlestar depending how you want the form factor. and as a 3rd choice the snow wolf.

the primo and predator always worry me cause wismec and their 510 pins. I do have a primo on the way though. should be here this week. i'll probably get a predator too. i ordered the kaos as well. sig makes a well build mod, their chips are just way overrated
Maybe do a couple reviews for us when you have some time to put them thru their paces. I watched Mike Vapes review of the Predator and Primo, and supposedly Joyetech (Wismec) has updated the 510 on all the newer shipments.

I will for sure. but since i buy my stuff for my reviews i don't get it as fast as the big reviewers do who get free samples before they hit production.
I do know the "updated" 510 on the rex300 and hedron is still crap as i have those 2. I disassembled the hedron and was very disappointed in it. I seen DJL do the RX300 which is the same design, has a little more give from what i can see but still a poor design. and my rx300 has given me the check atomizer BS with my TFV12 a few times
I just checked out the Kaos and now I'm unsure if I should get the Smok Alien or wait to see what people say about the Kaos

I would not hesitate to get the Alien kit if you want dual battery or even the AL 85 kit if you want single battery, both come with the Baby Beast. The H-Priv Pro kit comes with the Big Baby Beast tank and is a good option as well. Vape NW is a solid vendor IMO. Good luck!
I've watched some reviews and read comments on the Alien. People are saying after a couple months they're having issues with it just not working anymore. Although I'm still considering ordering it.
Some of these seem to be splitting hairs or involved in a pissing contest. From 200w to 220w to 230w, all on dual 18650 mods. 18650's can only push so much and the window where max wattage is still viable is liable to be slim. I was a bit irritated with my first istick tc100w when the firing button crapped out within a couple months. Got another and it's lasted over 6mo without issue (aside from the paint). So far have had my alien for a couple weeks.
All mods seem to have issues, I've also heard plenty of folks with issues with their dna mods. 510's suck, buttons fail, battery doors that won't stay closed, magnets that fall out, poor fit/finish, paint that falls off, shitty tc, shitty chips, screen freezes, battery doors that don't work. I've heard it in reference to wismec, istick, hohm tech, dna mods, vapor flask, sigelei, smok etc etc. Not sure there's a mod out that hasn't had issues honestly, qc across the board seems to be a crapshoot pretty much industry wide. Some maybe more than others but no one's been exempt.

Pretty much this. Every mod has had some sort of failure rate. And it isn't even just mods it's everything. Cars computers game consoles phones etc.

id like to give credit where credit is due. The Smok Alien is one of the best mass produced Chinese mods (under $50.00) to come out in the last year or so. As we can see with the new crop of devices coming out, the bar has been raised, and the consumer will be the winner. Most of the complaints about the Alien have been cosmetic, not about the solid performance or well thought out screen, etc. Kudos to Smok, and I would not be surprised if they again top sales in the dual 18650 device market in 2017 with the Alien or it's successor.
I just can't trust smok anymore after one of their older mods autofiring for who knows how long in my cabinet before I caught it. But it seems they've improved a good bit since. To be fair I also had 2 of the wonderful exploding istick 50w adventures too, and I continue to buy joyetech. I've had mods of every price range fail in different ways, and some that have never failed me but others have problems with. It's all subjective.
As far as 100w+ mods some of my current favorites are joyetech primo, evic dual, and minikin v2. All under $100 and all have been very reliable for me.
