Coil building

I'm getting right into my building and find that I learn best as I do things and not reading about doing but would like some help with building an 8 coil set up and 6 coils. Can someone please suggest what wire I would use to end up with a resistance of around .25 - .3 ohms?

Not nearly enough info. No tank or dripper takes eight or six coils that I know of. Are you rebuilding a Smok stock Coil for the V8 or V12? You talking number of wraps? CHEERS!

Sorry, my mistake. Triple and quad parallels. Was trying to work it out by number of coils for resistance.

I've been using Vapers toolbox but it only lists A1 and not each gauge of wire. Otherwise it's pretty spot on when using 26g.

what kind of wattage do you want to run it at?
Do you like a hot warm or cool vape?
MTL or DML or DL type draw?
How much room do you have to build?

Take a Octo build at .3ohm target that means 8 2.4ohm coils...... 6 wraps of kanthal 32awg on 2mm for each coil will get that.

I like a warm vape and then warmer when I'm out and about. I'm usually vaping at around 180 to 250 watts but I want to reduce that a bit so that I know I've got some extra power to give it when I'm out. I'm currently building on a skyhook and my new Geekvape Medusa is in the post and due any day now. I'm looking to do parallel builds so 3-4 sets of parallel.

Had my nichrome in the post today with my other wire and they've thrown in some 304 ss. Can I use the ss as a wrap for my Clapton instead of A1?

I prefer kanthal but ss works ok for a wrap. You want to use 36 gauge or higher regardless of whether it is kanthal or SS though.

I just made 23g nichrome core and 36g A1 with 8 wraps. Haven't tried them yet just put them in my Vgod case but I'm itching to put them in something. Never tried nichrome that I'm aware of. Oh, and the ss is no good for a wrap because after I checked it's 29g. Gutted, never tried ss either so maybe I'll do some parallels with it. Or any suggestions?
