I got a troll v2 and I built the coils and all that but I put some now and vapour grape on it and it doesn't taste at all like it does in my kanger toptank mini it taste gross like the smell when you dry burn you're coil to glow them . so initially I thought it was the coils or the cotton so I wrapped new coils and put cotton bacon instead of the stuff it came with and still true same nastyness. I put some naked green blast on it and it taste amazing best vape I've had , so I was wondering why some flavors taste terrible and others absolutely amazing?

It's SUBJECTIVE....

Ohms in the rda?
Ohms in the tank?
VG/pg of the joozes?
Watts or temp you use...????

The build is currently reading on my mod as 0.89
The ohms in my tank is always 0.5
Both juices are 70/30
I've tried two different builds a 1.08 and my current 0.89 and I usually Vape 40 on my 0.89 and I vaped 60 on my 1.08 same results.

You have to 0.5 on ur dripper, increase wattage then compare...

id personally switch to 26g and maybe even 24g if you have the build deck space.

An example might be you do a 6 or 7 wrap in 28g giving you X amount of ohm which is fine but its still considered a small coil because its not very thick wire....Using a thicker wire means you can do more wraps to achieve the same ohms but have more surface area covering the wick to add to your flavor...SO now you can have maybe 8 or 9 wraps achieving the same ohms but a big increase in flavor...Mind you the bigger wire takes a little bit longer to warm up so either more power or an extra second or two of patience is needed.

The subtank is a more restricted build deck than your RDA most likely is so its not uncommon for one to give better flavor using a smaller wire...The RDA im sure you can put a much larger build in to surpass what you are getting from the subtank...The subtank would work even better for you with 26g wire and maybe a .5 to .75 build.

Also as EJ suggested above with turning up the power using the rda,..Tanks or RDA's with more air flow tend to need more power than a Tank or RDA with less air flow to achieve the flavor.

Yea I've got a troll v2 so I've got plenty of build space. I'll definetly pick some 24 up soon

Vaping flavor depends on many factors, tank, ejuice,pg, vg, nic, watts, temp, etc, all things effect your vaping experience.

Yea its something with the Kanertech sub mini top tank, I also notice flavor differences not quite what you describe but I do get a whole different taste from the Kangertech vs Merlin, cloud beast or the goon. The Kangertech single Clapton 26/32 at 2.5mm wrap SS at 40 watts or 480 deg brings out the most taste of any juice I try, I been Vaping around 5 years now and still run the Kangertech, I have at least 20 other tanks on the shelf.

That's easy. I loved the Vandy Vape icon, so when I saw that they made a new version of it called the iconic, I bought it on a whim. I won't go into why I dislike it so much, but as a follow-up to an amazing RDA that was both minimal and high quality, I was extremely disappointed and its follow-up.
