When I started vaping, I flip-flopped between an Aspire Vivi Nova and a couple other tanks... went through a lot of BVCs! I also snagged a Nautilus (using it today, in fact), and an Atlantis. I was so pleased, I bought, on pre-order, the Odyssey kit... the Triton V1, Pegasus, and xharging dock. After a loooong wait, the kit arrived and I hated it!!! What's worse, the day after it arrived, Aspire announced the V2 of the kit - yeah, I waited that long for the V1. The new kit rectified evrything I hated about the V1. There were no updates, no trade-ins, and no satisfactory answers from customer support. I swore I'd never own another Aspire product!

But then I got to play with the Archon in a local B&M, and I liked it so much, I broke my vow. Then, I bought a Quad-Flex Survival kit to run on the Archon. Now, I see this... I am very, very glad to see that Aspire has turned it around, and I would welcome the chance to play with this setup!

I used to smoke Aspire CE-5. Was my firs clearomizer.
I like the design of the new tank and mod. Hope they will offer good RBA base for it.

looks like a nice kit. I really like the clieto and the nautilus mini is well known as one of the best MTL tanks out there

The Aspire Zelos 50watt kit is a compact mod, 2500 mah Li-Po batt, 50 watt TC,
along with firmware and USB charging! Also the Aspire Nautilus 2 mouth to lung
2ml tank, with .7 ohm and 1.8 ohm BVC coils, along with xtra glass tube, xtra drip tip
and o rings...what else do you need?
I'd love to try this out, thanks for the chance! :yes:

I think it's a very nice little setup. The 1.8 ohm head would work well with the 2ml tank and 2500 mAh mod battery size. Good job!

I do like the look of the Zelos especially the red. I used aspire products in my early days of vaping and have nothing but good to say about them.

Love the shell cover the tank as we know our vape stuff gets dropped or knocked over quite a bit. My wife still does mouth to lung only I will definitely have to look into getting one of these.

I just got my kit! That was very fast for something given away!
It looks to be in good condition and I haven't even vaped on it yet. I will let everyone know how I like it when I figure it all out.

Let me know what you think....I never could get the link to work for me to get this freebie/1 dollar...Plus I have no direct paypal account. It's all good. I don't plan on playing anymore contests hosted by entities from China.

Well, I had a little bit of a learning curve to get things started. :confused: I only own one other MOD and that is the Smok Alien that came with the Baby Beast, then I got a couple RDAs and have been mostly sub ohming. I also have a couple spinners with some old aspire ET tanks I use to vape some juice that flavor is too strong sub ohm for me, or sneak at the grocery. lol.

I have not tried TC mode and am only reviewing on wattage mode with the 1.8 coil.

  • The mod arrived with power on and battery bar reads full. I got the grey one that I asked for and it has a silver metal drip tip, probably ss (a little heavy).
  • The tank had the 1.8 ohm coil installed and it was very tight. I had to sweet talk it a bit to unscrew the coil. I screwed it back in to give some above 1 ohm vaping a go.
  • Comes with an extra glass, O-rings, black plasticy drip tip that feels nice and is light weight, a .7 ohm coil, a usb cable,short user manual, warranty card, and a little card that shows how to fill the tank.
Being afraid to fry or ruin the 1.8 coil, I may have started with lower wattage than could fire it and couldn't get any vape. The coil says 4.2 - 5.0 v but I couldn't see anything guiding me to what wattage to use. Using a max VG vanilla custard juice (at least 70% VG is all I vape because PG causes some issues with me), I can get decent vapor and nice flavor starting at around 10w on this coil but am vaping at 13.5. The airflow can close very tight for some good MTL hits. The tank and coil has a certain smooth and even flavor and vapor production that I would not be able to reproduce with the Baby Beast, and definitely can't get with the aspire ETs. Quite a pleasant vape all in all.
  • If held up in front of a light, I can see the tiniest gap between the tank and MOD, but not very noticable.
  • Tank is a bit darker than the mod in grey but it is still good looking.
  • Great instant screen flipping without waiting. lol
  • The mod and tank have a nice weight that is not very heavy, but not light.
  • The finish is very smooth with a fine texture that might be too smooth and easy to drop if one has dry hands.
  • The way the tank is unscrewed to fill is a little bit awkward, one might accidentally over fill it.
  • It has restricted airflow that can be turned very far down for some really tight pulls.
  • On all airflow settings it is a smooth pull with no whistling that I have found.
  • Good flavor with an even and smooth vapor production.
  • Has not leaked yet after a couple hours and I am laying it on it's side on the couch beside me.
After replacing the tank one of the times I unscrewed it and replaced it, mod said "No Atomizer" and it was fine when I shut it down and restarted. This only happened once so far.

I would definitely recommend this product to a person who needs to quit smoking and doesn't need more than 50 watts. It has a very tight draw setting that still gives good vapor.

I got my kit as well and @bugalien is pretty much spot on with his observations. I use my nautilus mini daily because i can vape high nic and not cause an uproar with massive clouds of vapor around customers. My expectations were high with the nautilus 2... Very high. Firstly, shipping to me was very fast. It came from Aspire in CA so that was cool. I opened the package and the mod was charged and ready, already on. I grabbed my bottle of 18mg juice and filled her up. I let the 1.8 ohm coil prime for 15 mins and started at low wattage (6w). With the airflow all the way down to its lowest setting it has a better, tighter draw than the nautilus mini. Its close to perfect for me. The throat hit is way higher though, i mean WOW. I think I'll use 12mg next time. Its a nice looking combo with the mod and tank together, but there is a gap like @bugalien said. Its tiny but its there. The airflow is smooth at all settings. The mod works great in wattage, voltage, and bypass modes. I have not tried TC yet and probably never will honestly lol. Thank you so much Aspire for hooking a few of us up with this setup! Nice job for sure, im impressed!

I only used 6 mg nic because it was the strongest I had, but you are right on about the throat hit. I will be picking up some 9 or 12 mg nic juice just for this tank. However I am using the .7ohm coil already. Nothing wrong with the 1.8ohm coil, but the flavor is pretty intense with this tank and I added a juice that is just too flavorful for it. I am used to dripping 6mg nic at .1 -.5 ohms throuought the day so maybe I will be fine with 9mg nic with the .7ohm coil. lol

I would like to mention that I just now put the mod on the charger and it wasn't dead yet. Just under half battery and I have been puffing on it all night last night and today. Impressive!
