I was at a cloud comp tonight and like half the people werent useing drip tips is this some sort of thing or just a trend ? Most of them were terrible at clouds but i cant say much my tobh center pin spun and shorted out so i didnt get to participate
It does seem to eliminate the bottleneck effect. Drip tips are inherently smaller than the opening so less airflow. Another big reason for this is that a lot of these guys drill the caps out to a larger bore to get more air flowing through there. There is some merit to that. Try it!
I cant stand not using a drip tip but I do notice the difference between a "Wide Bore" drip tip and my Cloud Chaser drip tips from Cherry Vapes. I can no longer use my other drip tips on my cloud chasing setups.
I see me and a buddy of mine machined and created our own wide bore tip and it's about as wide as it gets without the ability of Burning your face off haha

While I would agree it does produce more vapor it only works for a couple pulls. I would much rather keep my lips from burning and sticking to my rda just my humble opinion though.
