Nope. And very spotty responses to boot. The worst part is that he keeps offering new services like alcohol ink dyeing and custom mod painting, but he clearly can't keep up with the mod orders. I'm getting frustrated again.

I know right ,it's not that hard to tell folks that there is a waiting list and that you will only take so many orders at a time .

My original order was made in May 2016. The first unregulated series box came in the wrong color and no engraving, also autofired and the heat shrink wrap around the mosfet melted.
The second came correctly, but had very bad engraving, also autofired and shrink wrap around the mosfet melted.
Third one did the same. Worst part is that he blamed me for misuse... I know how to build for series (never ran anything below a .5), I use good batteries, and I'm familiar with ohm's law. That pissed me off good.
Asked for a refund and was told he can't because the money is tied up in parts and whatnot. We agreed that I would pay a bit extra and get a DNA75 dual 18650. That was November 10, 2016.
Just trying to get something for my money, at this point.

Congrats. Mine's been "in progress" since late November. How did you get a hold of him? Facebook messenger is how he gets all his orders so I'm getting pretty pissed that I haven't received a response since 4 weeks ago.

I dont do fb, i had someone message him ask for an email addy, from there inask if we could talk....got his #. I got antsy aftwr 2 weeks and being told i was getting shipped...hence the nasty text part. But after talking.....i got mine shipped.

That's obnoxious man. He told me he got burned a large order about a month ago. I wonder if those enclosures were the leftovers. Either way, you should have been notified and gotten the option for a discount.
My whole transaction with him has left a bad taste in my mouth. Clearly, he's gotten too big to handle and needs to expand his operation or at the very least he needs to get someone to handle customer service. As it stands now, he sucks at communicating issues to his customers.

That bad taste is here too unfortunately but im just glad I didn't get burnt for my money. we've had conversations via text and he seems like a really cool guy but I agree it is people and really liking his mods he needs to step up production the right way. I really hope everything works out for you if not attempt to ask for a refund.

Yeah, me too. Don't even look at his IG. Seems he has plenty of money for ammo at the shooting range and vape gear.
I really don't want to bash the guy, but I just started running my own small business and I'm trying really hard to keep it small so customer service doesn't suffer.
Next time I'll order from someone who has mods ready to be shipped, I guess.

Last year I got a series box from him. Except fr a long turn around everything went fine. Jmoney placed his order about same time as I did, and still got nothing in his hands for his money. NOT cool.
My mod still works like a champ, so I was to order a parallel box from him, but too many people have problematic experience lately, and have not received exactly what they have ordered. So I'll have to pass, until he gets his shit together at least.

Just had a long conversation with Sean. Turns out life has been pretty rough for him. Two shops ordered mods from him and hit him with chargebacks after they received the mods. Happened right before Christmas. Put him down a huge amount of money. He's assured me that he'll get me my order, but he might have to go out of business.
Such a shame that shady assholes have to pollute the community like that.

how in the hell can the shops do that? can't he pursue legal action for that. that's really shitty for sure, but even at that, it's just as bad for him to take someone's money and not give them a product
He could sue but he doesn't even have the money for a lawyer to do so and it's more expensive because it's out of state.
I feel for the guy. I believe he's going to try and make it right.

couldn't he call the credit card company? they don't always side with the buyer. I'm sure if he calls them up and explains that he sent the merchandise they could work with him. or even just calling the police. what they did was theft. and depending on how many they ordered could be close to grand larceny. There are avenues he can take in trying to get his money back. 1st off the bat would be to tell the story on the internet so people going to those shops know what they are dealing with
I suggested that he post about it. At the very least people could boycott the shops and at least we would get some social justice for him. I'm sure he's exhausted every avenue considering this is his livelihood. I know I would have already in his situation.

Thanks man. I always try to put myself in other peoples' shoes, sometimes to my detriment. I'm okay with that because we're all in this together and we all deserve some measure of compassion.
I've just started a small business myself and in the first month I've had family issues that delayed orders going out. Granted, I was a little better at communicating but I haven't felt an impact like he has so I can't sit in judgement.
I can't do much for the guy other than cut him some slack and I hope other people will now that they're aware of his situation.
