Looks like it should to me, other than maybe elevate the coils just a smidge.

Sorry dude, it could be the juice maybe?
Mine seemed to be muted with most fruit flavors, and really didn't give off notable flavor until I got the nano kit for it. That chimney being so tall can have a tendency to lead to muted flavors, at least to me; but, I prefer a warmer vape.

As it sits at the moment

As @f1r3b1rd mentioned you can try adjusting your coil placement (looks like you could raise them a tad). I put my wicks to about the first notch (not to the bottom). I haven't used mine in awhile. I use to think I got good flavor from it but once I bought my first Aromamizer Supreme, the flavor was lacking in comparison. That pretty much shelved it. Wish I could be more help.

Cheers,
Steve

Same juice I am using in my Baby Beast and Melo 3. An RY4

Well, the difference between those 3 attys is striking.
Look at the condensation chamber and chimney.
The billow 2 is much higher with more space total on the chamber.

Like wingsfan, mine got shelved and sold... I do use a billow3 from time to time though. Normally I stick with rdas or if I want a tank the kf5 or OBS engine

Glad you found a solution! I still mess around with my V2's every now and then but there's a lot better options these days, still one of my all-time favorite tanks tho :)

Funny you said that...I am looking for my next rtda to play with for flavour. Just waiting on the reviews on the Geekvape Ammitt to see if it is what they claim.

So many choices and opinions

The best thing I found with opinions is that they are like assholes, we all have one.

Ive made it a point to ignore the fanboys altogether, unless they have facts. The more I hear someone tell me that productX is the best thing since breast milk the less likely I am to buy it.

Ie: Ill admit I'm a vaporshark fanboy, so don't listen to me on that unless it's something factual.

What I've done though is have some friends who vape the same style as I do and trust their opinion. Between that and knowing what I like, I can make a reasonable judgement before I go and waste my money.

Amen brother.

Like I said earlier, I really like the 7ml Aromamizer Supreme. It's very well built, buttery smooth threads, easy as pie to build, and has excellent flavor. The problem is there are a ton of RTA's and I haven't tried them all. That combined with everyone tastes things differently makes recommending an atty a tricky proposition. All I can say is it's my favorite RTA.

Cheers,
Steve

Awesome point bro.
Thats my new fogger. Lol
I always wanted to try one, because of the recommendations and price. But I kept finding other things so it stayed on the back burner and I never got one.

I have a shitload of tanks but usually run rdas unless I'm out and about, I'm which case it's the kf5 or engine (both easy to build and ideal) . My girl loves tanks and usually grabs one of mine at home but keeps her herekles for out and about.

Between all that and only having 4 mods that can run a 24+, I can't really use it.

At what wattage are you vaping it at?....The v2 has far better air flow than the V1 but certainly not enough for a high power quest...Ive had a .26 Clapton build in mine and and anything past 35 watts got too hot once it ramped up and muted flavor in my personal experience...I went to a .40ohm single core Clapton and the flavor is great for me at 26 to to 28 watts with decent cloud production and some warmth tp the vape...I haven't found the V2 to be a super low ohm high power type of tank in my personal experience with it....The V3 PLUS im finding is more for higher wattage but even this tank shines within a certain power range...I think most all tanks have a sweet spot power wise and that's the thing you want to look for to enjoy the tank for what it is...My V3 Plus im liking at between maybe 40 to 50 watts although ramp up time is present using fused Clapton at .26 ohms..Flavor for me though in the V3 exceeds that of the V2 once you find the right set up and of course cloud production increases quite a bit.

@Mike H. Have you seen the Billow V2.5? I have the 2, 2.5, and 3 plus. To me the 2.5 is the successor to the 2. The 3 Plus is like a completely different tank imo.

PS The 2.5 came out after the 3 Plus.

Cheers,
Steve

Hey Mike

Right now I am running it at 28 watts with duel 28 gage 8 wrap SS coils. At .41 Ohms

For me .4-.5 Ohms seems to be the sweet spot.

I do plan on throwing in some claptons in the .2 range and see how that goes in the near future...

try some twisted 28g on it..you might like that..Flavor is improved slightly on a twisted over a standard compressed coil...At least it is for me..Dont bother with a .25 ohms coil..you have to turn up power a lot to avoid grandpa ramp up time and once it does heat up it youll get too hot and muted flavor..Atleast that's my experience with it.

or build a basic Clapton and try that..28g wired wrapped with 36g..Worked well for me but I went to a 26g and lost a tad bit of air flow due to coil size.

Weill have to try that while I practice making claptons. And with them being SS I can run them in temp mode so they don't get too hot

All this time TC has been out, I still haven't tried it..lol....I do plan to try it with SS though at some point...Its said SS wire in regular power mode gives off a cleaner flavor than kanthal in power mode but ive not yet tried it..Im sure I will.

It really does give off a cleaner flavor, at least to me.
I dropped all my kanthal in favor of SS, even when I'm running in power mode.

At first SS is what people were using to vape. Then nichrome because it heats faster. Kanthal only became the standard building wire because it was cheaper.

All of us in the Know did the one thing that is rarely spoken of with SS is the longevity of coils if not pulsed like Kanthal

Now why the 430 in particular?

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Well it's TCR is basically the highest of all SS wire we use. The higher the TCR, the greater the resistance change, making it easier for the mod to read the change and be more accurate/consistent. I prefer using SS and SS430 is my favorite for TC. I still use 316 here and there (Claptons mainly)
