You got a 4leaf clover in your pocket?

LOL...too funny Dave. I always make note when I win something. Oddly, they mostly occur around the time I have a doctor appointment? Are the spirits trying to tell me something? Congratulations, Dave!

Thank you very much @Benny Flavorman and CeraVape! I am so looking forward to reviewing both the 44 and 45 designs for CeraVape. You will of course receive my unbiased opinion.

Congratulations to my vaping friends who have the same opportunity to pre-assess these new products we all depend on.
Let's get these products rolling!

Is everyone else's PMS looking weird when they send to Benny? It doesn't look like a normal chat?

Yea it looks different. This forum uses conversations instead of PM's so it has a different format. If that is what you're talking about anyways

USPS is sure running slow these days but the Cerabis 44 and 45 just showed up today. Going to use them all weekend and post a review later in the week.

Thanks for the tanks Benny.

I received my gifts a few days ago. I'll begin using them tomorrow. Dog at the vet, family issues and back pain has me down. Also, I'm waiting on AV equipment to arrive. This will give me some time to use both tanks!

No signs of leakage or even the usual condensation

No leaks for me as well and I don't bother to close the tanks airflow , just left open all the time.

Same here i leave mine sitting around on my table by my chair while watching tv and such the only times I've closed it is when I pocket my mod when we go someplace.

I have mine in hand as well and using.

Want to run through a couple of coil cleanings before putting fingers to keyboard.

Same here, this ceramic stuff is pretty new to me and I would like to give it a good hard run before I review it, after all, the advertised selling point of the ceramic stuff is flavor and coil longevity. So I don't wanna just open it, vape it, review it.

They are impressive for stealth although using the 0.50 coil will need some airflow adjustment to remain stealthy. But in the car? Open 'er up!
I'm looking forward to publishing my findings on both RTAs soon.

The flavor is really really good with these. I have had one bad coil out of the box though. Reads no ohms after 2 puffs.

Received both tanks a few days ago and have the .5 coils hard at work. I will get to the review once I have cleaned these and tried out the other coils that came with them. Until then, pictures below :)

I don't have a mini volt but I got a mini nugget....lol. Great suggestion, the combo with the 1ohm coil is a great stealth setup.

Nice review man. Good camera work too. I don't have a decent camera so I don't think my review will be video. I'm about ready to review. I too prefer the 45 over the 44.

Hey, what’s up everybody! First off, I am not a professional reviewer. I have however done a ton of research, and tried out several different tanks on my short journey into the vaping world. I was given these two tanks as part of a reviewer contest, and have ran them exclusively for a little over a week. Here is a nice look at the packaging that these two tanks come in. Each comes with a TON of o rings, spare glass, and a spare .5 ohm coil. Very nice compact package, which I like, because I keep the packaging for all of my tanks.

All is packaged in a nice small box, which is great for box horders.

To keep this test run as scientific as possible. Both of the tanks were on the same mod, same juice (80VG), and the same coil resistance. Let’s dig right into it!

Here are a few of the details about these tanks:
  • Tanks are made of SS and Pyrex glass
  • Coils are all NM - food grade ceramic- no cotton
  • Coils are kanthal and resistances are 1 ohm and .5 ohm- recommended watt range; 1ohm: 25-50, .5ohm: 40-60
  • 44 has a 2 mL capacity
  • 45 has a 2.5 mL capacity
  • Both come in stainless, black or limited rose gold
  • (available at: http://www.onlineshop.ceravape.com/)

CERABIS 44

I got off to a rough start with this tank. I filled and primed the pre-installed 1.0 ohm coil, took two good hits, and the resistance dropped to 0, and I never could get this coil to work again! This was not a great first impression, however I never had another coil issue other than this. Once I got a functioning coil in, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of this tank. I went from an Aspire Cleito to this tank, and felt it was just a hair behind it. I found that it vapes really best from 40-50W. I ran about 10 tanks through the 44 and found only one major flaw in mine. It leaks! I could not get the leaking to stop at all with this tank. I changed out O-rings, and double checked the assembly, but I still got some leaking out the air flow holes. It isn’t awful, but it was still enough to make me stray away from wanting to use the tank.

CERABIS 45

After vaping the 44, I found these tanks to vape almost identical. It makes reviewing the 45 a breeze. One design difference separates these two, and to me, it's a big BIG difference. THE FILL PORT!! I love the fill port of this tank. It is quick and easy to use, and the hole is large enough for most bottles or pipettes. The fill design and .5 mL bump in capacity made the 45 the winner in my book.

PROS

- Fill slot on the Cerabis 45 a great innovative design.

- Flavor is good on both tanks. I felt it was right up there with my Cleito.

- I NEVER had flooding with the ceramic, and NEVER had spitback.

- It has good air flow adjustment. It is easy to adjust, and has a good range.

- The coils have good life. Other than my one bad coil out of box, It took 15 tanks before it got remotely gunked up. I tried both cleaning methods, and it somewhat revives the coils. However, I think of them as a throw away like any other coil. They are never REALLY renewed from the cleaning process.

CONS

- My Cerabis 44 leaked quite a bit. The 45 did not.

- Capacity. I went through an entire tank on just a 10 minute commute

- Since this coil is unique, I wonder about the availability and price of coils. They are not as long lasting as advertised, so one would have to replace them at least monthly depending on how heavily used.

Side by side comparison of each

Side by side comparison of each of the fill designs. The 44 is a top fill design and the 45 has a juice fill port.

Here is a comparison of the size of the Cerabis 45 to some common tanks on the market. Left to right. Avocado22, Cleito, and the Cerabis 45.

SUMMARY

These two tanks are really great for someone who wants nice flavor and a different design. They can be a bit confusing for a rookie vapor, but a little tinkering, and you'll soon get the hang of them. Each tank has a bar across the middle, which "blocks" spit back from happening. and since nobody likes spitback...that's a win! The vape is very consistent with the ceramic coils. When vaping at 50W, two puffs in and the vape is the same from then, until you set it down. I couldn't buy into the telescoping design. It just seems like an area relying on o-rings too much to stop leaking. The single biggest factor in my continued use of this tank is the coils. I had 1 out of 4 coils bad, and these aren't something that I can just run down and pick up locally. They aren't all over the internet either, so that is the biggest downfall. Maybe if Ceravape gets really big, then that will no longer be an issue, but until then it seems you have just a few options for purchase.

Thanks again to Benny for giving me a chance to do this review. I really think Ceravape is on to something here, and hope they continue on and keep on improving.
