Ive been looking at Kennedys since I destroyed my first w/ the top and bottom afc. Never pulled the trigger.
The K24 made more sense to me since the under afc ports occupy deck space and the 24mm deck gains that back, but the raw copper posts turn me off bc it looks like a stripping disaster (snicker). I could deal with the trickster 24 posts in a standard K24.
Then along comes the Reload RDA and I'm sold. Just about everything about it makes sense to me. Insulator, post placement, wide bore DT entry, engraving on the cap, all that. I'd be in for a SS deck too but ever since I used the Gold Plated Double Vision and upgraded the screws in my old Double Vision with gold plated grubs, I have seen the advantage of gold plating in the right place.

Thoughts?

I just bought the Reload and will let u know what I think of it when it comes in. I've been wanting a 2 post Kennedy for a really long time, but the post holes on it aren't very big and the price is LOL! Will probably end up buying the Kennedy later tho :)

To be honest with you I own both and the reload is great flavor is good builds are a breeze, you can run it single coil mode it's got adjustable airflow fancy shit. Oh and the price it good only 80$ but I think the Kennedy 25 kicks ass and to me once the build is in I have never ever over dripped it. The reload does not have as much room and found my self over dripping it a lot till I really got used to it! Kennedy all the way tho!!!

Ah snap, the Reload looks like it'd have more free deck space for juice than the Kennedy, since the posts are part of the walls, go figure. vo_Ov

Reloads got style where Kennedys keep it sleek, I lean towards the Reload tho, in
this regard.
Thanks for the feedback and input,
toss a vote up top if you gotta sec

To be honest I voted other. not tthat there is anything wrong with those RDAs they are good, but for mine i prefer certain things

1) 2 post velocity style deck (with 2 holes per post) or large clamp style or postless
2) Bottom airflow (add in a side or top with it for bonus but needs bottom)
3) Large juice well

So for me personally, some good choices are the hatty, tsunami 24, Pharaoh. They check all my boxes for sure. The pharaoh is the best flavor RDA IMO but isn't the cloud chucker the tsunami 24 is. The hatty is like a smaller tsunami 24. only 22mm but has bottom and side airflow with the same deck

I forgot the Tsunami! Thanks! It's an obvious contender, I'm just a spaz for forgetting it, I even threw the tugboat in at the bottom of the list.

The Kennedy is obviously a public favorite and Reload is newer, seems that we could get some consensus and experiences up in the air.

To me, if I step back and look at it, The Pharoah is more of cycloptic mono coil aperatus where as the k24/Reload is more of a double barrel Vortex steam turbine.
Also the Paroah is like an engorged Super kayfun with a moat, not so much a dripper as the op.

Personally I feel "old habits die hard" apply to vaping. RDAs like the kennedy and goon were amazing when they first launched due to a new design that worked. with the kennedy it was the bottom airflow design, with the goon it was the clamp deck, but since then others have improved on the deisgn but people stay "brand loyal" to them even though they are outdated and ti makes them popular. I think there are better and cheaper options out there that offer what they offer and more for a fraction of the price. 4 years ago or so when i 1st started vaping nothing beat the patriot. it was amazing. used it on a mech as watt devices sucked back then. Then came the tobh which was great in it's own right. now they both suck compared to modern day devices and joybo who designed the tobh remains popular despite making cheap crap now

Before I got the Kennedy 24 2 post I thought of 2 things that ended up being false.
I thought it would be too airy but it's not, it's just perfect.
I thought I would be able to fit massive dual coils but I can't since there is limited space for the 2 leads with the post hole.

The reload does seem like an improvement on both the Kennedy and the Tsunami.

My take as well, the Reload should accept bigger coils, or 1 single coil. I think it's an improvement as well, but I do like the Velocity style posts in the Tsunami, just not the space that takes up ;]

U could go with a postless or clamp then. Pharaoh has a ton of space

The single Coil option on the Reload sold me over the Kennedy and the Price tag also. I run a lot of Single Coil builds and am a bit bias too tho. I've never owned a Kennedy and still plan on buying one now that they are gonna have swappable Posts, but I pulled the trigger on the Reload 1st.

I thought we dismissed there Pharoah as a contender in this discussion earlier in this thread. It's too different, we're talking Kennedy style RDAs, not gargantuan kayfuns, lol.

If that's the case. I'd take a tsunami 24 or Hatty over the kennedy.
Even some I don't own like the Cigreen Gear look to surpass the kennedy. I might get a gear but I've been on an RTA kick more then an RDA kick lately. no RDA tops the pharaoh for me anyway so i spend on stuff i use once then go right back to the pharaoh for my dripping needs lol.

I've owned 2 Tsunami 22's and a Tsunami 24. I've also owned 2 Kennedy 24 sxk clones. I don't know how or why because they look almost identical besides the post difference but the Kennedy clone blows the Tsunami out of the water. Basically the tsunami is a complete waste of time and money. Ive sold the Tsunamis and clones and bought what I believe to be one of the finest rdas on the market. The Kennedy 25.

glad you found what you liked! thats why vaping is subjective, we all have different opinions. I just can't get over the build deck of the kennedy. doesn't do it for me. IDK why they only put 1 hole in each post for the 2 post option

Thanks for the feedback fellas.

While away I Scored a cloned brass Reload. Turns out it's a plated bunk make. If your looking to go clone yourself, check the post spacing, the post hole size, the deck tube afc diameter, post shape, and wether it's the 22 or 24mm.

Soon'll have the Kennedy 24 with the gold cap steel deck and gold posts andll report back.

Was gonna post in this earlier, but wanted to use the Reload a bit more before giving some feedback. So far it's been solid. I Can't rate it to a Kennedy, because I don't have one, but i'll be purchasing one soon and will be able to compare the 2 a bit. AFC wide open on the Reload isn't as airy as I thought it was gonna be. The only Con I can think of is that the posts are a bit close together so your limited on wraps with some builds and the post holes are big vertically vs horizontally and I would have preferred them the other way around.

Just have to make sure they don't touch. That's why it's a little offset
