Hey guys,

I recently started vaping (goodbye cigarettes!) and the first mod I got is an Aspire Archon paired with an Atlantis 2 tank. I'm currently vaping at 30-50 watts and batteries have always been an issue - just ordered 4x LG H2 18650 batteries so I'll have to see how they work.

I decided to give those in-built battery mods a try and so far I found a couple of them I want to get. This is what I got so far:

1) Joyetech Evic VTwo - 5000 mAh

I understand that it is basically a minor upgrade of the VT but read some reviews about some tanks not fitting flush to the mod, is this dangerous? Another concern is the twist operation knob which I honestly don't know how long will last but 5000mAH is a TON of power and the mod has this premium build and quality.

2) Eleaf iStick Power - 5000 mAh

Another 5000mAh mod but this time it got this simplistic look and for some reason is SUPER light. I've read some reviews about the iStick Power feeling cheap in the hand and the power button getting stuck from time to time. No idea about longevity of the device here too.

3) Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 - 3300 mAh

I've read many good reviews about this one and it seems like a reliable and durable beginner mod that will still be working for a long time. Innokin doesn't seem to come out with new products that often but when they do...oh boy. The AETHON chipset here intrigues me, how good is it really. The 2A quick charge looks like a perk here too as no one wants to wait 6-8 hours for the charge cycle to complete I believe. Just.. don't explode!

4) Tesla Nano 100W - 4500 mAh

Tesla is said not to be in the league of the big boys: Aspire, Kanger, Innokin, Smok, etc but this mod is claims to have a military grade battery that allows for 'super fast charging' and it looks solid and well made, over all.

5) Smok XPro M80 Plus - 4400mAh

It apparently houses 2x 18650 inbuilt cells and apparently only takes 90 minutes to recharge to full capacity. It has a premium built and all the safety you'd be expecting from a Smok device. This one again looks like a mod that could last quite a while.

6) Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 PRO - 4500mAh

It looks a little bulky and like something like a computer part back from the 90s but the specs are great and I had someone tell me they've been using it for over a year without any issue at all. Wow, Innokin again!

Any feedback/alternatives would be highly appreciated! Got a mod you think should be on this list, please comment!

Thanks.

what are you exactly looking for? a better vape or just anything with a built in battery? whats the price range.

to be honest none of those companies are really that good maybe except smok. smok has been making a lot of good products lately. eleaf has a few decent starter mods. joyetech/eleaf/wismec are the same company. most their stuff especially the joyetech and wismec are poor quality. eleaf does have a few decent devices though for beginners. kanger also makes some decent things for begining as well. sigelei is just a crap company now. wouldn't trust anything they put out. Innokin and tesla I'm not too familiar with

For a beginner I recommend iStick Power from Eleaf. Easy to use, quality product and also I think it looks sexy too. Also you should try Wismec's RX2/3. It is easy to use and you can charge it while batteries on the device. Wismec does not recommend it but it is possible. (Been using it like that for 2 months I thing and had no problems). Hope this will help you :)

No, it really doesn't. That's why they recommend not doing so.

I got distracted from the in-built battery mods ever since these two happened. :|

http://www.smoktech.com/kit/skyhook-rdta-box

http://www.ijoycig.com/product/item-324.html

The batteries I ordered from illumn for my Aspire Archon are taking FOREVER to get here. I decided to take the battery cell of my old laptop apart and stole the 18650 cells inside. I really hope nothing is going to explode today!

The Smok G320's 2/3 batteries capability look VERY interesting as well. Thoughts?

My order (4x LG H2) was shipped via USPS First Class Mail Intl on 11/15/2016, still haven't received it yet >.<

Trying to track it gave me this:

2016-11-19 07:59

JAMAICA, NY 11430, Arrived at USPS Facility, Your item arrived at our USPS facility in JAMAICA, NY 11430 on November 19, 2016 at 7:59 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

It's been stuck like this for a while now. I ordered 10x Sony VTC4 on FT too. Somehow, that order has an issue with the tracking number too!

!

If this is an international shipment (as best I can tell from the above), delivery by first class mail is dependent on both the USPS and the post office of your country. chances are it will not update until arriving in your country. From other countries such as China to the US it can take two to four weeks at times to arrive.

Using 18650s of unknown ratings pulled from a laptop's battery pack is a helluva safety risk. If you're concerned about them exploding (which I would be) don't use them.

Of its shipping out of the country that means it's held up in customs. Usually takes a couple weeks to pass through

Evic VTwo Has Surprised me !

I have two, and both preform flawlessly.
I dont play with the buttons too much, just set it and forget it and all is tight as the day I bought when they first came out.
Excellent Battery life, easy recharge, good finish.... not a chip or scrape.
I would buy two more today if I needed one.

Nearest comparison ....
iStick 50 watt.
eVic makes that one feel like a toy !

So from personal experience.....
I have had Smok mods and the firing button always the weak link.
iStick... almost got two years outta them, but in the end the firing button was again the weak link.

Will I get 2+ years outta my eVics ?
I dunno yet.... but they are WAY more Solid than any other internal Battery mods Ive had.
Except maybe my old MVP which is still going.... but battery does not last like it used to.
But hey its 4-5 years old !...... I think I got my 30 bucks outs it by now !

Just My Humble Opinion............

I don't know how to make my own post... but I have a smoke osub 40w and it isn't charging and I don't know why or how to fix it. It's only about a month old.. can anyone help me please??? I desperately need it fixing

Thanks.

I am currently using the Tesla Three 150 watt box mods 5,000 mah with a USB port on bottom to charge your phone and 2amp quick charge input. I have 3 Tesla Twos that are ages old and still work flawless to this day still hold pretty much the full 4,000 mah (tested with a Drok multimeter for capacity) I do this every month on all my mods an cuz I never had any issues with the Tesla Twos I bought a couple Tesla Threes last October. They have been flawless no problems at all and you'd think only an extra 1,000 mah bigger battery wouldn't make much of a difference but it does! Somehow these 5,000 mah Tesla Threes compared to my 4,000 mah Tesla Twos even when the Twos were brand new didn't last days like my Threes do and I'm a heavy vaper. I go through at least two 5ml tanks a day and get 3-5 days on a single charge. Plus I love how simple the Tesla Three is. It has a chipset in it that reads whatever you attach to it, the wire type and resistance, then fires at optimal resistance up to 150 watt. No matter what coil I put in my TFV8 big baby beast or no matter what build I do in my RTAs the Tesla Three ALWAYS fires it at the "sweet spot" it's incredible how intelligent these things are. They've never over fired or under fired anything. It's always the perfect wattage given for whatever I attach to them. I love how simple they are, they do all the work for you and give you a PERFECT vape every time plus the Tesla Three has every safety feature built in you can think of. I have a Tesla nano 60 watt and a Tesla Touch as well, with my experience with Teslacigs they make some of the best quality LONG LASTING mods PERIOD. I have a Smok Alien 220 and haven't had the best time with it, paints all chipped off an sometimes firmware upgrades act up. I've had a handful of other mods to but every Tesla I own I have never had any problems with at all they have all been flawless honest to God.
