Hi All,. I dropped my ego aio the glass broke and the fire button got pushed in. It still fires but not easily. Can anyone tell me if I could fix this and how to dismantle it? Thanks

As far as I understand with mine, the glass tank is not repairable or replaceable and the only fix is to replace it. It would be cheapest in the long run as they are relatively inexpensive.

Thanks Whitesoxfan2579. I figured so, just thought maybe someone out there knew a fix. I have already replaced it, just thought I'd try fixing the broken one for a backup. I love this little guy!

I know what you mean. I use mine daily as a backup to my Vapeberri & Kanger Subvod. Gotta say I love my AIO also.

The Ego AIO is a one piece mod and tank, so once you break the tank it's a goner.

Actually I should pick up a spare as so far I've been fortunate to have not dropped mine. But, if it should happen, I'd better have a backup.

Thanks for the replies all! I bought a replacement and a silicone sleeve this time. Hopefully I'll have better luck!! I did find a utube video but couldn't understand the language.

How well do the sleeves fit? and, how hard are they to put on? I was thinking of just adding a vape band but now you have me wondering.

I bought some off of Fasttech for the AIOs I sell. I'm sure different sleeves have slightly different dimensions, but at least for the ones I bought, it was necessary to pop a little hole in the bottom so you wouldn't create a vacuum trying to put it on. And also I cut out the section covering the power button. I found that the ones I bought were a little too tight, and could cause an issue with the power button auto firing or getting stuck.

Yes I agree. I also got the sleeves from fasttech. The clear one slid on fine. The red and green ones are a bit snug also causing the fire button problem. Thanks for the tip on cutting out the fire button. I did poke a hole in the bottom to vent. I have dropped my a couple of times but no breakage noted.. problem solved!!!

Are vape bands pretty much standard sizes or does it depend on what you're putting them on?
