Mucho money FDA wants from these vendors to be able to keep selling, Bound to see some of them keel under the pressure, big vendors like TW does surprise me though

I wonder how many vendors will survive? I have to start hoarding.

I wonder too. If big outfits like NT and TW can't find a way to keep the doors open, it wouldn't seem to bode well for the remainder either.

so they issued a statement today saying they will close in 2 years? that makes little sense IMO

It's a way of notifying the braindead US gov't that they are going to be losing a lot of money in sales tax, and contributing to unemployment, by adopting these asinine regulations which are COMPLETELY counter to science and truth.

From what I understand, they just wanted to be up front about it with their customers. They had already decided that the cost was prohibitive so why delay the news? I'm sure they are hoping that by announcing it now the news will prop up existing sales in the meantime as well. I know I'm considering ordering a few favorites from them while I can.

Honestly I was surprised that NT wasn't going to do the same thing ... stay open until the last possible minute but they aren't. Once their stockpile is depleted, they will close the doors. However, If I understand it correctly, they may still supply two specific products on a wholesale basis for a period of time per existing contractual obligations but beyond that, there will be no more NT. :(

I guess, but I'm pretty sure the point of the FDA doing this was to get shops to close down so big tobacco and big pharam don't lose money to the ecig business

Whats NT?
anyway trump is pretty set on helping business in America so hopefully he turns some things around so that vape shops don't have to close

Absolutely, I am convinced this is THE result the FDA was hoping for.

NT = NicoTicket, my bad, should have just typed it out, it's not like it saved me a bunch of typing. :)

I'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic that maybe something good will happen.

Yes, it's a juice line brand name. They started as a mom and pop shop and grew to a fairly good sized operation with lots of rabid fans but sadly this FDA stuff really put a strain on their business ... just implementing the age verification ( Blue Check, big mistake ) hurt their sales substantially and with the other even more costly regulations still pending, they decided it was time to call it quits.

Yes I can, they should leave the lying and exaggerating to the professionals in DC

I don't see it as that much of a stretch personally but I get where you're coming from. I have to think that the use of sensationalism here is due at least in part to the emotional aspect involved when making the hard decision to close a business. A decision that wouldn't even be necessary if not for the introduction of such onerous FDA regulations.

That said however, yeah, they probably shouldn't have made it sound like the FDA was raiding their facility.

I'm very sad to hear that Nicoticket is closing down. I haven't ordered from them in ages (I make my own liquids) but they are one of only two companies I would buy from again (for my personal use). Excellent liquids.

Yes, same here. I haven't ordered from them in a quite some time because I also make my own. I'm probably going to order a bottle or two just because they are good folks and they do make some great eliquids. Well, that and the fact that pretty soon, I'll never have another opportunity to do so even if I wanted to. :(

Nicoticket opened in 2008? Wow, I didn't know that.

By the way, I just bought 7 30ml bottles from them. I know I'll enjoy them.

No, NicoTicket was founded in 2013 but Totally Wicked has been around much longer, since 2008 in the U.S. IIRC.

I've got a few bottles in my cart now, just trying to decide if I should get more, lol.

I'm sure lots of other stores/manufacturers will close shop at least in two years, unless something really happens, in order to change the prohibition on vaping. However, we won't know much about it. The government, BT, BP, and the mass media definitely gives a shit about it.

"If it bleeds, it leads," and the vaping industry is bleeding like a stuck pig.
