Ok I had bought just today got in the original aerotank. Great tank right? From 0.8-1.8 res coils (comes with some 2.0 coils though!), solid ss design, nice drip tip. Great.

Ok was wondering if anybody else has even heard of this because this is like a jawbreaker for me. When I loosend the airflow all the way or tightend it up all the way it got completely stuck. COMPLETELY stuck. My dad ruined my new device, by destroying the threads on both the top and bottom (eventually). At first he destroyed the 5/10 and its threads. Then after a second attempt at loosening it, he destroyed the top parts threads. !!! Right? Well, the second time I was only wanting to experiment but I had no idea that he was that stupid LOL hahaha. So....

This is an issue with the aerotank, or it may have just been MY aerotank. I placed an order for a new one from the same vape shop, gotvapes.com. I am considering e mailing them but won't unless the second one has the same issue. I do NOT plan on tightening or loosening this new tank though. Even though I will eventually try its max setting(s).

Please help! Do you have any info regarding the original aerotank? It is supposed to be i believe more popular than the v2. And I know the aerotank is a high name tank, in fact it is probably one of the most popular tanks there is.

What is your opinion? I will have to try to remind myself to research this topic more on google, but I am very lazy. Will get around to it though. Thanks for any info you "have". It's much appericiated.

This problem is not uncommon, @JBrentonK, as it occasionally arises with many clearomizers (such as yours as well as sub-ohm tanks, RDAs, RDTAs and RTAs). 'Guess it's the nature of the beast(s).

There have been a couple of tactics, one or the other of which have worked for most.

Wrapping the tank base with a large rubber band (or even a silicone ring) will help add sufficient friction to provide enough grip that the offending parts may be disengaged. Failing this (and if you aren't aware of this one, it seems far-fetched), toss the whole thing in the freezer. Some say 10 minutes, others 20 or half an hour. The last time I resorted to this measure, I forgot about i9t 'til the next day but after a few minutes at room temperature, the threaded parts cooperated.

'Sorry you waited so long for a response.
