A little help here?

I am looking for something for my gold hades.. finally got it firing every time, and it's not too bad..
Batteries seem to last me a bit longer too.. YAY!! but.. it looks rather funky with my omega, and..
my big budda won't be here till Monday..

Who has a good dripper for the 26650 mech mods?? eye candy, please! :D

It's hard to say what the best one would be but it would depend on whether you want something that just looks good ,works well or both!
I can tell you I hate the 26650 sized TOBH clone I bought and I don't normally buy clones but if the real one works like clone?
I'm grateful I spent short money on it!
I also got a Kanger Giant Tank and it actually works exceptionally well and it looks great on my Coppe!
Hope this helps!

Oh no!! @cigarbabe  I snagged a tobby v2?? the shorter version..
I also have my big budda.. (coming monday) but I really <3 dripping.. and want something decent for a change..
the hades I picked up was an experiment (got a heck of a steal on it.. one of my juices for it lol)..
but I find I like the bigger mechs.. and I'd love to snag @fsors mech he has.. and then I want a mutant..

but I really want/hope there will be something out there that will rock the 26650..
I know its still a bit early.. and there is tons out for the 18650's.. but still..
keep eyes out for something that might go well (works).. looks.. I don't care.. ;)

First off, sorry to necro. I was hoping to find more recommendations here. @cigarbabe , if you don't mind my asking, whose 26650 Tobh clone did you purchase? Tobeco or EHpro? I know there's one other company that makes a 28.5mm clone (other than fasttech), but I cant remember who. What didn't you like about the Tobh Atty clone? Here's my thing: I like Tobeco's deck for the Tobh clone, but their center post and 510 connector pins are horrible. I've gone through 3 in just as many months.

The reason I ask is because I started dripping on a 22mm Tobh Atty v2 clone. I tried others (Omega, Nimbus, Mutation X), but I just didn't care for them (except the Mutation, it was nice). I always gravitated back to Tobh. When I started using 26650 mods, Tobh's were the only thing I could find readily as far as RDA's go (there was an oversized Kayfun and I think a kanger, but totally not my style).

I was hoping that this post (found via Google, btw) would have some recommendations, but it seems to have died out.

I believe this is a TOBH Clone made by EHpro.
It is now stuck on a device from which I cannot remove the damned thing!
I wanted to give it away too!

Hey CB..

do you remember those old timey rubber pieces your mom or Grandmother used to use to get a jar unstuck?
that is what I had to do the first time with all of my rba/rda's for my 26650.. it works.. just go slow with it.. :)

clone or not.. I paid a pretty penny for mine.. ;)
but since i converted (haha!!) mine into a dripper and removed the air screws, it's decent..
can always use it as a tank later.. but I am not a tank user..

I did try some of the rubber jar opening grips but so far it hasn't worked for me......

I just can't seem to find a good replacement for the tobh. I'll check out the big budda though.

If you're a fan of the Plume Veil, the Fat Buddha is the choice. An airy RDA would be a Mutation XL or the Castor RDA by Fog Monsterz.

Yep, I've tried my first home made "brew", a 8mg 80VG/20PG on the Castor @ 50W on my Sigelei 100 Plus, with a 0.3 Ohm sleeper coil (a 24 gauge A1, 7/6 wrap around 3mm). That RDA, is my favorite now. Couldn't stop vaping with it. It has a nice deep well, which lasted for quite a while. I haven't really counted the drags, it just took a long time, before I had to fill it up again. I'll have to tweak the juice a bit though. I think, I'll add 1.5ml VG to what's left of my original 15ml mix. That should bring it closer to a 6mg 90VG/10PG mix.

With that, though, you're going to get a weaker flavor as well, depending on the flavor concentrate strength / ratio. If you have the undiluted flavor concentrates, I'd add a couple drops to it to boost your flavor. It'll be closer to either 89/11, if you have (exactly) 15ml and add 1.5ml, that additional 1.5 will equal to an 9% increase in the total volume. My highest VG juice I have is 85/15, but its a vanilla flavor I extracted myself from vanilla beans using a PG/VG blend as the extraction agent and a helluvalotta time steeping.

I was aware of reducing the flavor by adding some more VG. However, I was using a concentrate adding 3% flavor, which was too much as well. That originally 15ml juice is almost gone already.
Since Vanilla is one of my ADVs. Tell me more details about how you make you're own flavoring from vanilla beans. I already have Premium Madagascar Vanilla Beans on my wishlist. I just haven't had investigated on how to make the flavoring yet.

Without giving away all trade secrets of it (because it took a 6 months of trial and error and about 1000ml of wasted VG / PG), the general process is using a VG/PG blend as the base (I could get a stronger flavor concentration with all PG, but you cant get your finished product at 85/15 ratios that way). I cut the beans in half and split them down the middle, then scrape the innards into the base. I then slice the hulls into quarter- to half-inch pieces and put them in the base. Then its a combination of 60 days of steeping in a cool dark environment, forced heat-steeping, and breathing. At the end of the 60 days, strain the pieces out of the flavor using a coffee strainer. I strained mine 3 times, just to be sure. I wont go into the exact step-by-step of my process because I believe you'll truly appreciate your created flavor concentrate by experimenting with different processes so that you can get a feel for it. Just remember each time you do it, take copious notes on the steps you've taken so that next time you can alter it slightly and see if the process was better or worse. There's no greater feeling

Thank you very much! I thought it would be similar to what you've mentioned. I guess, I better get my vanilla beans now. I already have some thoughts on how to decrease the time for steeping the flavor. Hint, I'm a hobby chef.

P.S: as you can tell, I found my long lost banner :)
