Hello everybody
Im using Eleaf i just s
And it leaks from the air flow like crazy
Sometimes it doesnt whicb i find wierd
I vape 2 diff juices and both 70vg 30pg

I do like the easy to fill tank and flavor and vapor is decent for me
But the leaking just ruins it bad
Another reason i got because its unregulated so i just press and vape
Plus i dont want to mess with the wattage and so on.
Im thinking buying a diff vape
Up to 100 bucks and something like press and vape is a plus since i owned a joytech egrip and it was sub par for me and i had a kanger semething(the battery slides off but i lost this vape :(
Any auggestion?
I do like flavor and vape production at the same level.

It's a regulated Mod, you just can't adjust the wattage.

Hi there!

I currently own a few setups of which I only find three that are worth recommending:

1. Joyetech eVic VTC Mini
- there's a newer one out but this mod has been very trust-worthy.

2. Eleaf iStick Pico
- super compact, the smallest 18650 mod (afaik) to date. Packs everything I need in a nice compact mod. Used until I bought my latest mod a few days ago.

3. Volcano Lavabox M Blood Red
- a very handsome mod. Lightweight and customisable via escribe, lots of bells & whistles, DNA device.

As for the tank, I exclusively use Wotofo Serpent Mini's on all of them. I find that this tank combined with the mods mentioned above make for the perfect compact and economical (for batteries) setup. I can vape at 20w and run a single 18650 for two full days. Used heavily on bar nights at that as I tend to chain-vape.

I'd still recommend the Pico out of those three though. I feel that I'm most happy with the size and that I value that over the weight of the whole setup. Goes up to 80w if I'm not mistaken and the temp control is not bad, just probably not as accurate as the Lavabox. Overall, I think the Pico wins out especially given the high price tag of DNA devices.

Oh, and the Serpent Mini never leaked on me. So I highly recommend this tank. I've yet to try other single coil tanks as not many are out in the market.

Hope this helps and good luck with your future setup!

Great suggestions. The Evic VTC is one of the best single cell mods I own. The serpent mini is pretty much the only tank I use these days because it easy to wick, has great flavor and looks good on my favorite mods. I do get some leaking / seeping but it's always after I've changed out the cotton and only last a couple of hits.

For reference, here's a pic of the Serpent Mini atop the Evic VTC mini

Thanks skt, just trying to help out

If your serpent, it may be because you're not using enough cotton. What I do is I use enough just to make it touch the bottom of the tank and just enough to cover the gap inside the wicking channel (not the bottom part of the tank where the juice comes in but rather the channel itself). I never got any leaks when wicked like that. Only time it did leak was when I didn't have enough cotton within the channel.

As for the vtc mini, it really is a great mod. And it still gets updates up to now so kudos to joyetech on pushing out updates even for older devices

That's basically how I wick but I will try it with a little bit thicker and fluffed up cotton. Thanks for the tip.

If you are think of the Volcano you might also want to look at the SDNA75 it's another DNA 75 device and just about the smallest you can get, a lot less, and has a bit more rugged of a finish. The volcano is great and probably a decent amount better than the SMY but being DNA's the feature list is the same, board is the same, and again much cheaper.

For non-DNA devices (since you didn't want to worry about settings and such) You might want to look at the Aspire NX-75. Many features all able to be adjusted on the device. 3 Types. Z, A, S. The Z is for Zinc and its the cheapest, the only other difference is using a micro USB instead of a Type C connector for recharging. The A and S are just like the Zync and are just the initials of the metal their use on the outside (Aluminum and Stainless Steel). The Zync is the cheapest.

Pico is very popular here a good choice for a beginner. also the eleaf aster is a solid little mod for 25 bucks. really small (i think it's smaller then the pico) 75 watts and TC. and cost only around 25 bucks

I'm on the RX200s band wagon. It's my work mod along with the Smok TFV8 with the octuple coil and 3 LG HG2's great setup. I've been vaping going on 2 years now just joined the forum recently for the lack of like minded people around me. I have quite the collection and I think the RX is a work horse and now with the recent update it goes all the way to 220 watts which I'll never use. I like vaping the "Cloud Beast" octuple coil at 120 watts warm and heavy vape. It honestly is based on your budget and prefernce. I have the RX200s that cost me 40 bucks and it vapes great but I have several DNA's that vape like a Rolls Royce. Like I said $$$ and preference.

My only problem wwith my eleaf ijust S
It leaks from the airflow like no tomorrow
So i need something else
Like "press and vape" so to say
I vape frequently and smoke 70 or 80% vg
Mouth to lungs
Sometimes my eleaf tank gets kind hot so i think the ejuice warms up and somehow sips to the airflow :(
Fyi i dlive in canada and have no problems orderi g online as long i do the research
Which you guys helping me out alot with :)

All that have been mentioned are fantastic mods, and I would likely suggest the Pico or the Evic VTC mini myself too.

You can get the Pico for very, very cheap if you wish to order from overseas. It is also tiny, and capable of TC that works well (I have only tested mine with TI, but it seems to work well).

In regards to a tank, would you want one that takes pre built coils, or one you build coils for yourself? We are in a time period where there is a LOT of products available, so you will be able to get something good, that doesn't leak, for a great price too!

This Icare is 650mah
My eleaf ijust s is 3000mah
Isnt it stronger?not sure if this related but i like taking 5 second hits or so for tye taste and vapor and sometimes the tank gets hot-ish
So i wouldnt think taking a "weaker'" device?

The mah represents the capacity of the battery. The higher the mah, the longer your battery should last.

Power in these devices are usually measured by watts.

Not too sure about the specifications of the devices mentioned here and if the eleaf is "stronger" but it definitely has the bigger battery of the two.

I am more of an RTA user myself, but I do have the older Ijust 2 tank, and find this does not leak, I can't comment on the newer tank though unfortunately.

Does anyone else have this tank, and can confirm if it is a leaky tank?
It may be something simple, like you need to put a new coil in, and it would save you having to buy a new device.

But, if you want a new device, there is nothing wrong with that. I hear the Aspire Nautilus X is a good tank and would be suited to a newer user. But, seeing as you are using a 0.18 coil most likely, a more airy tank may be more suitable for you. Something simple like a Subtank mini is old, but dependable, or the Cleito is a fantastic tank that takes prebuilt coils, both I own in the collection.

As has been said, the MAH is the capacity of your battery, not the power it can output. The device you currently have is not adjustable wattage wise apart from changing the resistance of the coil- a new device would give you the chance to try different power settings to find what you like yourself.

I agree with conan, the aspire cleito tank foesnt leak and gives awesome flavor. Simple to use too.

Ive always been very happy with my aspire tanks as i find them very well built. I own two of them, the triton 2 and the cleito. I hardly use them anymore but both are really very good sub-ohm tanks, imho.

Well i bought new coils package says EC head 5pc o.3ohm
My eleaf inust s still leaks its not even funny like buying cigs not funny.....

1 question
I will go ahead and purchase aspire tank so the god damn leaking problem goes away
Unless i better off buying that pico device.

Here is the question heh
1) my coil package also says 0.5 ohm
TC-Ni. ECL o.3ohm and some more options
So im assuming it depends what tank you own so you get the right coil for it but is there tank lets say like that aspire that can fit diff kinds of coils?if i bought 0.5 ohm instead of 0.3ohm would my ealeaf ijust s will work?

You have to buy coils that fit your tank first off. Usually tanks have different options of coils. Some tanks coils are compatible with other brands though. There is a list on the site of those. but don't worry about that for now. For now just buy the coils that fit your tank.

The clieto is a great choice and pretty cheap. you can buy on ecig.com right now for 17 bucks and extra coils. they have SS coils now as well. a 5 pack is 15 bucks and it can be used in TC or wattage mode (if you device does TC for SS wire) 15 bucks for a 5 pack so about 30 bucks total. plus use coupon code flash25 for 25% off so around 25 bucks total for the tank and extra coils

Ni and Ti coils can only be used in TC mode. The mod doesn't really matter for the tank. any mod will work as long as it has enough watts for the coils. the clieto coils are about 50-70 watts. Most coils are labeled with the recommended wattage.

Sir richard's post. Thats an awfully good deal for an aspire cleito and spare coils to boot. Id snatch that deal if i were you. The cleito is just really good, imo.

Another option you do have is to get a pico kit. You can use aspire atlantis coils on the included tank (melo tank). It wont be as nice as the cleito tank but flavor is pretty good also if you use aspire coils on it and not the included eleaf coils.

I understand this can be confusing, especially to a new Vaper.

You buy coils that are specific to your tank, say for the Ijust S tank. However, you can then choose coils of a different 'resistance', this is the number followed by the word 'Ohm'. Depending on the wattage you want to use, and also TC (but that is a different subject and will confuse things for now) you choose the resistance you want.

If you bought 0.3 ohm coils instead of 0.5 Ohm coils then yes, it will work, but in general prebuilt coils of a lower resistance need a bit more power.

Also, there are tanks that can use coils from other tanks, for example Aspire atlantis style coils fit a lot of tanks out there (If my memory serves me correctly, they also fit the Ijust 2 tank).

If the tank really is leaking awfully, and making you go back to smoking, I would get a new set up as soon as possible.

If anything is confusing, feel free to ask and we will try our best to help you out :).

As @SirRichardRear said, the Cleito is awesome!

It doesn't leak either so should make you very happy, and if you ever want to move on to making your own coils, you can buy a rebuildable section for it that is also really good.

Nice man! I think you will like it, and for $4 even if you don't, not much lost there. It seems to work well at the kind of wattage I would of used the 0.4 coils at, and I think if you wanted it too it would work even higher with a suitable build :).

I hear people using cleito .4 for like 2 or more weeks per coil while heavily vaping. How the heck is that possible? I use .4 at 45 watts and only lasts about 4 days.

I did manage to get more than 2 weeks out of each 0.4 Cleito coil while I was waiting for the RBA/RTA section to come out, but I was not using the Cleito exclusively, so it probably was at most 5 days a coil was in there I would geusstimate.

I found 45W to be a nice level with the 0.4 Coils as well, I think it is probably dependant on the type of juice you are using gunking up the coil, and also wicking fast enough to stop the wick from burning.

In theory, if you only vaped one flavour and your cotton never charred, I guess you could carry on using the coil indefinitely, although I think flavour would definitely suffer.

What juice do you mainly use, as some are known for lessening the life of coils than others.
