So I had ordered a Smok Alien 220W and decided to give one of my little AIOs to a friend. I told her repeatedly to make sure it's off before she puts it in her bag. Well, that very same night mine was NOT off when I put it in my bag. I thought it was, but sometimes it's hard to tell for sure in the daylight. I dropped it in my bag, came inside and put my bag in the chair.
I'm sitting at my computer and hear a strange noise like a pen rolling across the table. My dog is puzzled and looking towards my bag that's nearby. Some time passes by, I leave the computer, come back and I'm wondering why it smells like my one vape juice flavor. Still doesn't connect. A bit later I want to vape, go in the bag and touch something extremely hot. Everything clicked. Everything able to melt melted. The o-rings holding the mouthpiece in place were melted away, juice was leaking out of the power button. The whole thing was blazing hot. How this did not ignite or explode is beyond me.

Wow, that's a scary thought. You got lucky o.o I'm glad nothing crazier happened or that you hadn't gone to take a nap/left the room for a bit.

I am not familiar with that particular mod but does it not have a built in 10s turn off feature?

It might have, but the way it was apparently positioned in my bag on the chair, perhaps it just kept turning back on. It was the Joytech All in one pen-style vape. I'd had it about a year. Loved that little vape. :(
