I got my first mod with removable batteries. Wismec 2/3. I was wondering at what point to I need to recharge. Should I let the batteries go as low as possible or is there a point I need to recharge. I have been letting them get to 35-40 percent and then charging. Thank You

The mod has a cutoff, you aren't likely to damage them. The farther down you take them the fewer charge cycles you'll get out of them over the life of the battery. Charging before that as you are doing will increase the number of charge cycles before the cells finally need replacement. Your choice.

Most mods have a cutoff/shutdown voltage set in their firmware, which can vary but is between 3.0 to 3.7v per battery. 2.5v and below is danger territory for the batteries we use, below these points the battery is damaged internally and decreases life and output, however personally I prefer 3.2v charge lowest on my regulated mods, and 3.5-3.7v with my mechs. A lot of the high powered devices like your 2/3, at about 1/4 charge reading and a very high wattage, 70+ watts, you'll get a massive battery sag, the mod well signal check batteries due to a lack of needed amps to push the coil at the set wattage. Myself I recharge at about 50% on my regulated high power mods, single battery low powered mods I recharge at about 1/4 to 1/3, so you are pretty safe where you are choosing to recharge at.
