Strange after taste

Every time After I have had a respiratory infection, or soar throat e-Juice puts off a very distinct weird smell and after taste. for example, i just got home and i can smell the ejuice inside my whole house as soon as i walk in the door. Now not all my juice has this smell but most of them do...what is it i am smelling? No one else can smell it....is it a phantom smell? I can taste and smell it even more if I Vape. If you open a bottle across the room i will smell the ejuice...It kind of sucks because my ejuices were tasting so damn good!!!!! Before i got the 10 day sick bug!

it's just cause you were sick. once you get better it'll be back to normal.

I can smell transmission fluid, oil, antifreeze, burnt rubber/plastic, for far greater distance than anyone I know.
Those seem to hit me the same way the odor of a skunk would anyone else.
However in your case, it is a mental thing.
I don't mean that derogatorily, I just mean that more than likely before you got sick you had those aromas fresh in your brain.
Once you got sick you probably couldn't taste them so your brain was helping you by trying to make you taste/smell them.
Now you simply think of your vape and the smell just comes out of the woodwork.

I wake up in the morning and my living room smells strongly of blueberry muffins. None of my juices are blueberry, but I know I'm smelling the vape.

Like Paratech, I can smell things from further distances that no one else can pick up. A dude down the street smokes outside. I can smell his cigarette long before I get near his house when I'm out walking the dog. There are also many fragrant bushes along our walks that I never noticed before. I didn't smell things this clearly before I quit smoking.

I must be weird because I can't smell it when I vape but if I walk into a room where someone else has been vaping I can. I can taste my juice just fine, I just don't smell it.

Most days, my sense of smell is just not that great.

But there are times when my Mrs. is sitting on the other end of the room and opens an orange flavored cough drop and I can immediately smell it.

I can smell my vape but I don't taste it. Actually today I started tasting it and it didn't have the throat hit it usually does. It's really good today, for some reason. Maybe I should shake my bottle better but then I would never get a good day. They would all just be mediocre.

Same, I really hate the fact that I have a dogs nose.

ground up some coffee beans and put some in a paper bag, took a few lung hits viola! Poof, all the e juice smells different now! Exactly what I needed.
