Hello, so about a month ago I dove into the mech mod world and got myself an illuminatus. My 18650 batteries are quite old and torn up, and also not lasting too long anymore. I need some new batteries, so I'd like some suggestions of the best places (most affordable and reliable) to purchase them online.

I also want some clarification on the differences between 18650, 18350, and 1849-500 batteries as I cannot find any clear explanations online besides saying that they're different in size (obviously). My mod has three different tubes for each of these batteries, and I like the size of the 18350 tube. I want to know whether they put out different voltages and handle different amperages, or if size/charge life is really the only difference as it seems.
I usually build 0.5 ohms, so I don't need a battery to handle anything insane. Thank you!

18650 is 18mm wide by 65mm tall and is round 0
highest rated 18650s are 30A

18350 is 18mm wide by 35mm tall and is round 0
not 100% sure but I believe the highest rated one is 12A

18650s range from 1500-3000 mAh
18350s are below 900 mAh

Thank you, so it seems according to my math that an 18350 would work for me as long as I didn't venture lower than 0.5 ohms.

What mod?

Because unless this is a mukti tube mechanical. It probably requires 18650.. 18500 will handle .5ohm fine so will 18350 but 18500 will last almost 2x run time. And it's only 15 mm longer.

In all honesty, I wouldn't go that low with 18350's, just due to battery life. The lowest I go is around 0.8, and even then with 18350's battery life is not that great and I treat the mods as more a novelty due to their small size.

An 18650 powered device would suit you much better, and also be able to last you the day as long as you are not hitting it constantly. Plus, you will find a lot more great 18650's vs 18350 batteries.

It is an illuminatus and it has tubes for all three types of batteries.

18650's are by far the most efficient type of battery, so if you can use those then I would. That size has had the most development by major companies. But the smaller sizes work too, just not as well so if that's worth it to you then go for it.

There are only 3 battery manufacturers that I trust my face and hands with. Sony, Samsung, and LG. I can buy those quality batteries for significantly less than what you paid for the Brillipower. For instance you can get a LG HG2 20A 3000 mAH for $6.49 at liionwholesale.com and $6.30 at Illumn.com.

Here is a long interview with Mooch by Vaping Biker and is well worth your time. Mooch is an engineer who tests batteries for his real life living.

Well now I regret buying these batteries... From all the reviews I read, it seemed like Direct Vapor was a trusted source... Anyways, the lowest I'll go is .25 ohms, so the batteries will be okay.

.3 or higher for those batteries. .25 is 17 amps. they are 15 amp batteries
it's not the seller, it's the battery manufacturer. but i prefer illumn.com myself for batteries.
