New tank for my Kanger Topbox Mini

Hi I am new to vaping. I have never smoke cigs before and nor I have wanted to start. I have been having such a rough few years and I used to smoke *** to relieve any type of stress. But I recently dedicated myself to something and so I decided to quit. I have done lots of researched on other means of stimulant and figure vaping with a small amount of nicotine (3mg) was the thing. And I have been loving it so far. I chose something small anf light weight so I got a Kanger TopBox Mini. Which puts no weight in my pocket while I work or when I'm just commuting.

But lately I have been like on a mod bug. I really don't want to go with anything bigger but I f'in love the design of the Smok TFV8 baby beast.

What I wanted to know is if the TFV8 baby beast was too much of a tank for the small 1 battery Kanger Topbox Mini?

It should be able to handle it. I know from the 2 atomizers included with my Alien mod, it has a .4 ohm that can run between 40W-80W as well as a .15 ohm that runs 50W-110W. So if you run it above 40W, you should be fine.

I'm going against the grain here, and suggesting more mod for the Baby Beast, to get its' full potential, stronger day to day performance, and for battery life.

For choosing a mod, you might consider whether you'll want a more powerful tank in the future, how much size matters, and budget.

Thanks for the input guys. I will be looking into what I will do next in terms of which tank is best for my mod or if I should go with a bigger mod. I really would like to stay with a smaller size but let's see what I will end up with.

I agree with mikeyboy. I don't know anyone running the BabyBeast at 50w (isn't that the limit on the topbox?) I'd want at least a 100w mod for that tank.

One of my go to work mods is a Smy 60 mini. I've been using the baby beast on it for over a month. I vape it at 38-44 watts depending on the juice I'm using. I've put it on my bigger mods and ran it at higher wattage, just because I see so many people say "gotta run it at x amount of watts to really shine" Not true for me. Depends on your vaping style. I have everything from straight wattage mods to DNA ones and everything in between. Same with tanks, I have most of the popular ones that work well. And I rarely, if ever go over 60 watts. It's just my vaping style. Point being, you don't necessarily need "this" mod to run "that" tank.

Oh really? I vape around 35-45 watts depending on the juice. The juice I have been buying alot lately works well at 45 watts. If you're vaping at 38-44 with the baby beast and it works well with you. I might just try it out. The Kanger Topbox maxes at 70watts.

When I went to buy my first box mod a couple years ago I almost bought a Topbox, our was it the Subox? I forget, but they are pretty close. The Baby should work fine with the Topbox, although I would have to agree with mikey that you may look into a good dual battery mod. I recently saw a review for the Joyetech Evic VTC Dual. Looks like a good solid mod, and can be run in single or dual battery mode as well. Makes it very versatile. Also, it's not incredibly expensive either.

I hope this helps a bit. Welcome to vaping and to VU.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.
