Hi you all over there
First of all I apologise in advance for my English, I'm from Sweden ;) ...and I'm kind of new to all this DIY.
I've been smoking my hand rolled cigarettes with this strong, lovely Norwegian tobacco for 20+ years but it seems like I don't need them anymore :D
I've been reading lots and lots but I was hoping for some tips for regarding my flavour stash (mostly FA) & it's the others like Cap, Tfa/Tpa, Innawera, Fw that I have no clue about what I'm missing!
What 'most-have' is it that I should know about? (I try to stay away from 'crap' like diacetyl)
I think I need some vanilla, ice-cream, cinnamon, and custard that's not 'citrusy', but witch one?

I've got this so far: (FA)
Fuji, Raspberry, Strawberry, Bilberry, Citrus mix, Lemon Sicily, Lime cold pressed, Mango, Passionfruit, Apple pie, Cookie, Custard, Custard pi (that I'm not so found of), Fresh Cream, Vienna, Catalan, Meringue, Marshmallow, Caramel, Butterscotch, Hazelnut, Tiramisu, Irish cream, Coffee espresso, Cacao, Chocolate, Jamaica rum, Liquorice plus, Dark Vapour, Perique black (love them dark, harsh tobbaccos) Bitter wizard, Vape wizard, Dark rolled, Espresso creme, Ry4 nutzilla (that I heard so much good about but I can't hardly taste any tobacco or Nutella just leaves a aftertaste like 'cheap' vanilla so that's why I'm 'afraid' of ordering the wrong vanilla).
From TFA i have Brown sugar, Acetyl pyrazine, Pineapple (free sample, never tried it) & Cheesecake Graham Crust (that's a little bit to overwhelming for me, I just LOVE Hicś recipes but in his 2 ingredients recipe 'Tiramisu cheesecake' the Graham overwhelms me and I can't feel the Tiramisu...my taste buds is living their one life)

I'm planning on order this from FA: Torrone, Marzipan, Almond or Nutmix(?), Coconut, Joy & Peppermint.
Perhaps I'm interested in Cap's Glazed Doughnut and FW's Butter Pecan & Tpa's Strawberry (ripe), Toasted almonds. What do you think of them and do I need theirs Sweet Cream or can I replace it with what I already have?
Maybe some Pomegranate & Dragonfruit to.

Sorry for the long text but WHAT AM I MISSING?!?

Thank you so much for reading, and for this amazing forum
Love to you all :blowkiss:

Welcome to VU! TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust is the one you want to use.
Thank you!

...and oups, my bad!
I already have that flavour but I wrote CAP instead of TFA...let's see if I figure out how to change it ;)

*edit* changed it now :D

Welcome LadyLuck to VU ! use the 'EDIT' tag in the message to change your text..

Tough to stay away completely from diacetyl .. some of the better mouth feel type flavors do have it.. think that is why they taste so good. ;p

Thank you, it feels good to be here because everyone in here seems so kind and nice...even if the question's been asked a thousands times.

Am I right when I say that FA doesn't have diacetyl in their flavours (googled so much so it feels like I can't remember half of it :p)
Because I think I get a pretty good mouth feel when I add a combo of fresh cream, meringue & a touch of marshmallow to my mixes.

Yes their made for vaping flavors are diacetyl free - excellent company that provides high quality products, so easy to recommend them.

Well if the flavor is overwhelming you could back it off a bit. I tend to stay towards the lower percentages with it.
As for the other flavors, I've heard that CAP VBIC is very good, and have it on my buy list. I also use a lot of CAP Vanilla Custard as custards are my main flavor profile vapes. I mix with CAP VC v1, but you might prefer v2 since it doesn't have diacetyl. I have not tried that one though.

I thought you used Snus up there :p
My son moved there last February. Still waiting on some. :D As for diacetyl. There is way more in those hand rollers compared to e liquid.

True that! That's why I don't worry too much about the baddies in my flavorings.:giggle:

Aaah, now I know why there's a v2 of so many of their flavours and what the difference is *the redhead is feeling blond ;P * Thank you for 'upplysningen' (don't know the English word for it :teehee:

Edit: "Welcome to english for beginners, today's word is Upplysningen: Enlightenment :p

(If I want to quote more posts at the same time how do I do then)?

You simply left click mouse while dragging over what you want to quote in as many posts as you want and fill in your response to each of them, then post.

You're absolutely right, my husband is so addicted to his snus...it's always there, often even when he falls a sleep (guess how the pillow looks after that )
Small world, where in Sweden does he live...and what does he think of us 'stiff' swedes :D
Tell him to send General snus, best of the best!

that's why I'm 'afraid' of ordering the wrong vanilla

If I only could pick 1 Vanilla I'd get INW Shisha Vanilla, or INW Vanilla Bourbon.
TFA French Vanilla Deluxe(or DX) is also good if you're limited in brands over there.

INW Shisha Strawberry would be my first choice followed by TFA Ripe Strawberry.
INW Biscuit is somewhat like FA Cookie but stronger.

CAP Vanilla Custard v1 tastes better than v2 IMO, but don't discount TFA VBIC cause it's real good too, but they got the bad stuff so...
Didn't care for Glazed Doughnut, tastes like Play Doh to me.
CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is another "must have" I think.
And CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream
CAP Sweet Tangerine is great too.

TFA Vanilla Swirl is another good one to have on hand, no baddies and works fair for a "poor mans" custard.
(mix with DX Sweet Cream and/or DX Bavarian Cream)

TFA DX Sweet Cream, & CAP Sweet Cream are both pretty good, (no baddies)

TFA DX Bavarian Cream is also worth having, as is TFA Brown Sugar for "bakery types".

FW Butter Pecan, Natural Butterscotch, Cinnamon Roll, & Hazelnut are all good ones.
CAP Cinnamon Danish or TFA Cinnamon Danish are decent too, FA Cinnamon Ceylon will work but tastes more like red hots type to me.

If you're more into FA, the Pomegranate, Passion Fruit, Almond, Walnut, Nut Mix, Coconut, Condensed Milk, & Yogurt are all good ones.
I also like FA Brandy, but don't think it tastes like booze at all, which is OK by me.

Tiramisu is a pretty strong flavor for most, so you might try increasing it a bit, like 0.5% at a time.
(You can fine tune HIC's recipes to your liking as many others also increase the amounts some).

Thanks Heabob, exactly what I needed!!!
I saw that you write TFA VBIC in the same sentence as Vanilla custard, would you say that it's more custard-like or is it like CAP VBIC and in that case, which one would you recommend (a little bit diacetyl ones in a while probably won't kill me ;))
Is there somewhere any good 'notes on' (like Hic's) on TFA Vanilla swirl, DX Bavarian cream, TFA DX Sweet Cream, & CAP Sweet Cream (or could you perhaps fill me in). Is there a big difference between them and FA Vienna, Catalan & fresh Cream? Trying to hold the budget :p
All this creamy, milky, buttery flavours is hard to imagine...but they all sound so good! Condensed milk & yoghurt are flavours I've never thought about but sounds like they can do magic...and hole in my wallet too!
If you had my flavour stash and only could choose 3 of the 'white' flavours which should it be?!
(I've got FA passionfruit, FA mango & TFA Brown sugar...just forgotten to write them down).

Sorry, my mistake, my mind runs faster than my typing sometimes.
TFA VBIC is comparable to CAP VBIC but sweeter and more creamy, and doesn't need steeping like CAP does.
But it contains Acetyl Propionyl: >=1% and <10%, but no dicatyl.

CAP seems to be more Vanilla, and more "custardy" tho.
(This one has no warnings)

Sometime I mix both together:D.

No notes that I know of, as HIC uses mostly FA flavors.
All the FA Creams are quite dry for me, and not sweet at all, so I'd say quite a difference compared to TFA & CAP.
(If you don't like sweets they're OK, and you could always add some TFA Sweetener if needed)

FA Condensed Milk is a bit sour/cheesey like but works good with Yogurts, VBIC, Creams, and Vanillas, only using 0.5%.
TFA Vanilla Swirl has a bit of vanilla custard, or pudding taste, but it also has some cream in it too I think, good universal add-on flavor.
TFA DX Bavarian Cream & TFA DX Sweet Cream are both sweeter/better than the regular TFA versions IMO.
CAP Sweet Cream is less sweet than TFA, but it's still good.

I didn't like FA Mango myself, but prefer INW Mango & CAP Sweet Mango.

Adding 0.5% FA Coconut to recipes can add some 'butter effect" without the baddies.
And the Sweet Creams can also add some of that effect.

If you had my flavour stash and only could choose 3 of the 'white' flavours which should it be?!
Assuming you mean Dairy/Ice Creams, I'd drop plans for getting FA Joy as it's not really a winner, and you could add another good flavor that's more usefull.
So at least to narrow it down to 4:
CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
TFA DX Sweet Cream
TFA DX Bavarian Cream
If Custard was included: CAP Vanilla Custard v1
If not: get FA Yogurt

I love mango & passionfruit in real life, but haven't got any good results (yet) in DIY, so will sure give it a try with another brand.

Sounds like you have quite an impressive stash already. I'm not sure what flavors you have access to in Sweden but FlavorArts Sweet Fire has a pronounced 'dark, smoky' flavor you might like (use just a little bit).

Also, I use Capella's Cheesecake V1. TFA's plain Cheesecake is not well regarded, their Cheesecake with graham is very good but you said you found the graham overwhelming.

I personally don't worry overmuch about diacetyl. Snopes has an entry about how the danger of diacetyl is vastly overblown.

Thank you for the tips, I appreciate it!
There's a lot of flavours I can't find here in Sweden but luckily UK isn't that expensive to order from ;)
