I pay between 11 and 15 thousand bucks a year in fuel and highway useage taxes, and that doesn't count tolls. It's $65 to cross the George Washington in a semi now. Next time you get stuck in traffic, add the trucks up and multiply x 14. They could heat and cover all the Interstate highways with the money they are making off of us. Trust me, the condition of the roads isn't based on a lack of funding.

So, I went to the mountains for awhile and missed the debate. Some of it anyway. I did listen to a bit before going back to the campfire.
I listened to the media talking heads today about the debate. I looked up some stuff on it. I read some opinions.
It looks to me the result for Trump was the same as his primary debates. The talking heads say he did poor. Rumors about his campaign staff wanting him to do better. Stuff like that. Same as the primaries. People that don't like Illary worried that Trump was Trump. Same as the primaries. Most online polls show Trump winning.

I think that opinion has bipartisan support. Imagine if we had a decent third party candidate.
I think the media and the political establishment are going to go full on nasty cagematch as the election nears. Throw out any hope of any balanced reporting, toss out any pre-conception of fairness or legal process here. They will do what ever they can legal and illegal to stop Trump and elect Hitlery. Those fucks are fighting for their political lives and all the power and money that comes with it, so they have nothing to lose except credibility, which they have already lost. What the political pundits and politician's don't seem to accept is that there is a huge Tsunami of anti-establishment resentment building in America. Either way, both parties have more or less fucked themselves over with their over the top performances. The Democrats hope the sheeple will come out en masse and vote. The Republican's think they can rebuild after self imploding. Despite their best efforts, Trump won the nomination.
All of this utter crap and propaganda has done is energize an electorate that is sick to death of the political elites and the games they play with our country, our lives, our money, and our future.

When you reach a certain income there is no way to legally avoid paying taxes, amt is a bitch. If you don't make much and lie like a mofo, you are not on the IRS's radar and they frankly don't give a shit about you. But once you start making real money you are on their radar and amt is their cruise missile.
