I installed the new firware on my T5 and could not be happier... Especially with the imporved battery run-time.

this upgrade has fried a lot of chips, dont do it until cloupor straightens this out. dont want anyone out of a mod

Yesterday when it was posted it was still working, which was several hours after others had reported the link being removed, which is why I asked, but yea, it's gone now too. Weird.

So far I have heard more complaints then compliments regarding the T5 upgrade, but I not sure how much user error may have to do with it. Apparently in spite of the 75W upgrade, the chip still has a 10amp limit. Those who reported frying their chips appear to have been firing builds over the amp limit.

Any update on this? I don't care about going higher than 50 watts, but I would like the options that came with that rom. Vv/vw, change c to F, change What's on display, better resistance readout. I've heard they aren't even gonna do another update ever. I'veheard there will be a v2 with bbigger wiresthat can handle more tthan 10amps.ive heard alot but can't get a definite anything. Does anyone have any insight?
