I am planning on buying a Tsunami 24((first question...will it fit on my IPV D2?)) but im wondering...i know what type of cotton i want to get,but i am wondering what wire and how many wraps will be easy to work with to get .5 ohms((so i can vape about 35 watts max and it not burn my hand)) ((I have the aspire atlantis v2 and am using .3 right now,but with how hot the coils get its eating through my juice like candy)) Any help appreciated. Thank you and have a good time of day for you.

OK, I'll move this to coils, LOL. Feel free to edit your title, if you like :)

the IPV D2 is 23mm in depth so it will go over the edge a bit.
This RDA requires big builds and high wattage to reach it's potential.
I would suggest using dual Claptons or 24AWG at around 60-100W to start with.
If you get this one instead of the Atlantis for juice economy, you're getting the wrong one.

If you want to use an RDA for flavor at low wattage with a small build, you should consider the Derringer and similar.

I started with stainless steel 316l spaced dual coils 8 wraps on each, will give you about .5 ohms

Yes it does it's just a little different then other modes with preheat and all.

Your mod does not do TC. It's strictly a VW mod. It's been proven time and time again. Go to Djslb Vapes on youtube.

so Kanthal really isnt that easy to deal with?
also the tsunami 24 is a great RDA. i love it.
If you want .5 you can get 26 guage kenthal and do a dual coil at 7 wraps around a 3mm drill bit and that will give you .5 resistance.

Sorry to derail your thread a bit

this thread explains it pretty good http://vapingunderground.com/threads/sigelei-213-fuchai-reg-box-mod-is-my-dream-device.257390/
But at least you are using SS316. If you were using Ti or Ni200 wire in it on temp mode, that could be really dangerous

Edit: even better thread http://vapingunderground.com/threads/problems-with-my-new-sigelei-fuchai-213.258824/
Hold on I'm kind of new here so bare with me , I put it tc mode, it fires fine and drops the voltage when cotton dries, haven't had a dry hit yet. So what's wrong with it ?

It keeps rereading the resistance so the more you fire in a row the hotter it gets. Which can be dangerous with ti and ni200 wire. Not really with ss but it can still give you nasty hits

Yea that cotton bacon is the way to go. I don't think I'll ever use anything else again
I got some and just used it. The only difference I notice from regular organic cotton balls is the cotton bacon doesn't have that wierd cotton flavor for the first few hits. Besides that though, I don't get the hype for it.

I've noticed the dry hits aren't there unless you absolutely dry the wick out. You can definitely tell a loss in flavor before dry hits. Much better than cotton balls
