First RTA build seems to be working out. Pretty happy so far. Used premade Geekvape Claptons and Cotton bacon. Only had a little leaking then the wicks decided to do their job and it's vaping great at 45 watts and about .3 ohm.

Any guesses what RTA it is?

I went cheap on my first dedicated RTA to see if it was something I'd like, but I'll be getting more for sure. This one is actually a Tobeco Super-RTA 25mm. I put a Still Chuck chuff cap on it because I've preferred larger drip tips lately, and that makes it look a bit more like the current popular RTAs like the Mage or Griffin 25 mini. I've got dual 2mm Claptons in it and they're a bit crackly on a longer draw so I might try something else soon.

I have an Axiom and a Serpent Mini on the way and will likely get a Mage later. I'll try to post comparisons when I have the others. So far though, for about $16 for the RTA, I'm pretty happy with the performance.

Received my Wotofo Serpent Mini. Single coil, tiny, 2.5ml I think. I had no leaking on my first build. It wicks well, has surprisingly good vapor production at as low as .7ohm@25watts, and has great, great flavor. Looks good on my HCIGAR VT75 Nano. The low wattage is a nice way to extend the life on the battery thirsty DNA75 without going too high on the resistance (higher ohms but dual coil maybe?) that it goes into protect mode and won't fire. I'll try to add a pic of the Nano and the Serpent Mini when I get home. It's a great setup for taking to work if you work in an office or just want something small for on the go.

I also rewicked my Tobecco Super RTA 25mm, and I might have overstuffed it the first time. It wicks much better and vapes smoother now with less popping. It leaked a bit more when first built, but it's been fine for two days since.

Really happy with the Serpent Mini. I'll be looking at getting the 25mm version eventually. Receiving a Mage later today!

2mm is kinda skinny. If you have room, increasing the coil diameter would probably make it better. Especially the wicking ability.

I have a Supertank Mini 25mm RTA, 3 mm coil 6 wrap space 24G kanthal, the added diameter is perfect for the wicking holes, i just stuff it all the way down and cut the excess. no leaking.

Yeah, I bought those tiny Claptons by accident about a month ago and wanted to get some use out of them. They are the Geekvape ones that come in a little tube. The labeling on the tube is so small it's illegible, but I decided to use them in RTAs just based on the size. I'm planning to keep updating this thread with RTA impressions so I'll verify if I remember. I rewicked the RTA and the cracking is much reduced btw. I'll be rebuilding with new coils soon though.

In other news, lol....
*Innokin Axiom...Tiny deck is tiny. Why is this deck dual coil? If it was a single coil 'between the posts' design it would be usable.
*SMOK RBA decks in TFV4 and TFV8 are making those tanks worth using for me again. The single coiler in the TFV4 especially.
Coilart Mage - everyone is right, this thing rocks.

Should I buy a Serpent Mini 25mm? Yeah why not.

More updates!
*Griffin 25 Mini is pretty good. Flavor is a little muted so far vs Serpent Mini and Mage. Could be my build and juice. I'll update later
*Coilart Mage still amazing. Dual coil 2.5mm at .3Ohm, good production and great flavor.
*Serpent Mini 25mm - Setup single coil with 5 wrap 3mm Clapton @ .65Ohm from premade wire. Working about as well as my Serpent Mini 22 and Mage. Loving it. Looks OK on my 24mm wide HCigar VT75 Nano which is my favorite 'going to work' mod. Don't mind the 1/2mm overhang at all.
*Innokin Axiom - Insulator melted. Won't read on any mod with two different builds or a straight piece of wire I tested with. Might buy the coilheads that are out there just to try them.

Merlin mini next? What else is there?

I haven't rebuilt the Griffin Mini yet, but I was outvaping my wicking on my new Serpent Mini 25 so it got a rebuild instead. I went to a smaller core Clapton, 24 to 26, to improve ramp up and hopefully allow faster cool down. I remembered to wrap left handed this time and used 6 wraps. I re-wicked with Cotton Bacon. It came out to .93 ohm and 4.5v is right around 22w.

The ramp/cool down seems better now. I tried not to over stuff the wicking and it's doing well so far without any leaks. The new build should work out well on my VT75 Nano for battery life, but I'll be testing that tomorrow with a new Samsung 30Q battery to see if I can avoid the dreaded DNA75 low battery BS.
