So I decided to give building a try. Man I either really suck at it or it's the deck I'm using. I usually have the shop I go to build for me but since they can't currently. I'm going to do it. I purchased everything I needed. Watched some you tube videos. Spent an hr and about 10ft worth of wire and nothing. Lol. I'm also using the recoil rda which I find has a small deck to build on but hey I'm only a beginner. My problem right now is I can't get the second coil in without other side being in the way of the leads. Also my coils are ending up looping each other at end. I'm a dumbass I guess

You need to preclip the leads before installing the second coil. Insert them one at a time and clip the leads how short they need to be then install both of them and screw them down. Pinch, pulse and strum them until they fire even and then give them a rinse.

When adjusting the coils be sure to keep the jig inside them or you may alter the diameter of the wraps! dont be so hard on yourself, we all came from a position similar to where your at right now, the best part is it only gets easier and better here on out

I give it another shot. I think I did everything u just mentioned at one point at had both in and thought great let me pulse and squeeze and I should be OK. I pulsed and heard a pop. Saw one of the coils slumped over. I stopped right there and went to bed. Lol

Make sure your pulsing in the 20w-30w range, you want around 3.4V...you dont want a hotspot to burn hot enough to melt the coils os keep it low and strum it until its even. Make sure the coil doesnt touch anything around it also!

Are you using 2 mandrels?? I insert first coil, while still on mandrel, and push leads to side. Then insert second, still on mandrel. Then I position both coils, tighten down,Push lead out of way and out of contact. Then I remove mandrels check with meter, adjust, then clip leads. Dry-burn if VW/VV or mech build and finally wick and vape.
Dry burn or pulse at LOWEST wattage you can, for the build and wire you are using. But fact is as long as the legs don't get red first or at all, hot spots shouldn't be as issue. As a wicked coil, wet with E-Juice should never get hot enough to spot. You get a coil that hot the wick and juice will combust.

Well on the recoil I did one coil in tightened. Then tried to do the second. Found other coil in the way of leads. So I put my driver in and tried to pull the coil up so I could get the leads of the other coil in. And couldn't get it
