Truvia is composed Erythritol and Stevia, mostly Erythritol.
Erythritol is a polyol that doesn't caramelize, but is not as sweet as Sucrose.

Why not just use liquid Stevia? It's much more concentrated and much easier to mix.

I put mine in a mini crock pot at 140 degrees and shake with a jig saw mounted under my bench with a clamp and pvc pipe to put bottle in.

I just received a sample of erythritol to try out. I don't normally use sweeteners AT ALL, but read an interesting review of it, so I'll need to do that soon.

I bought some at a health food store. Don't be surprised that it doesn't do much.
Yep.
Stevia is 150 times sweeter then Sucrose, Sucralose is 300+ times sweeter then Sucrose, Erythritol is only 60-70% as sweet as Sucrose, so you'll have to use a hell of a lot to feel it.

Is that the same stuff that you get from a grocery store? How do you mix it?

Suggest you read the ingredients in Truvia and most other Stevia brands.
You want pure Stevia.
Like: https://www.pureformulas.com/betterstevia-french-vanilla-liquid-extract-2-fl-oz-by-now.html (with vanilla)
or: https://www.pureformulas.com/stevia-glycerite-8-oz-by-now.html
or: https://www.pureformulas.com/betterstevia-extract-powder-1-oz-by-now.html
The latter you'd mix at a ratio of 1 gram to 10 ml PG or VG. If you use VG warm it up a bit.

You might want to look up Smoky Blue and ask her about using Agave Light.

Hazy

What @nightshard said.
Neither erythritol nor xylitol are good for vaping.
Xylitol is as sweet as sugar so it's good for your coffee but it gives you gas.
Your best bet for juice sweetener other than pure sucralose w/o fillers (not the kind you get at restaurants)
is pure Stevia (see links in my other post)

Hazy

Be sure and get the non bitter stevia. Not all varieties of Stevia are the same flavor.

All stevia gets bitter with age. when I started getting pre-diabetic and first bought the stuff
I got a bogo deal from Puritan Pride and one whole box of it was bitter
but the other identical box was fine.
you have to keep the liquid refrigerated and the powder very dry.

I noticed when I re-read my post that I got her nic wrong.
I corrected that now but I don't know Smoky Blue's real name, have only
had a couple of conversations with her. I did read her discuss her use of Agave several times though.

If I remember correctly her formula is 1 ml of agave light syrup to 9ml PG. Then use that solution
as you would pre-mixed sucralose sweetener
I only used it a couple of times but it works.

You're welcome :)

No Huck, I did not see the post prior to editing but
I don't care to know Smoky's RL name anyway. If I need to speak with her
I can always message her.
It's bad enough that some jealous imbecile accused me stalking his girlfriend last night.
I'm innocent and never hide my hand after casting a stone. (old Spanish saying)

Oh Sorry! I didn't know we are not aloud to post last names here. I thought I was being helpful to giving her name so he can find her. The name of one of her groups is Smoky's Fan Club if this helps.
That's alright, @kimsmm We know it was harmless and you were only being helpful.
I'm sure Huck won't give you points or anything...LOL

Yea, Smoky knows her stuff...but so do I :)

No, as Hazy mentioned, I know you meant no harm, we just remove people's real life info here as we run across it, unless they choose to post it themselves.

LMAO, no, no points. Kim's no troublemaker, we know this :)

Yup. I'm pretty sure Smoky wouldn't want her full name posted.
This is the internet and there are real life weirdo's and stalkers out here.
Chicks especially need to be careful what y'all publish. That even applies
to badass martial artists like you, Huck

I clearly wasn't thinking. I met my husband online in 1999...I lived in FL and he was here and SC- my experience with the internet wasn't bad, but I neglected to realize that alot of things have changed since then. I reckon I still have old school thinking :(
