I plan on getting the iPV2 within the next two weeks. Does anyone know anything about it and whether it's a good buy or not?
If you can get it for a good price it's a good buy but i have seen some charging over a hundred bucks now and for that price i like other options. I was interested in the iPV 2S upgradeable weatherproof version but i don't think that one is for sale .
P4U's warranty center is a big minus , Asmodus feels they can change the terms of the warranty at will and have already changed it and i don't have much confidence they won't change it again if it benefits them.
They have said they don't care about the laws and will do as they please , i say bullshit to that.
picture please!!!I also have a gray carbon fiber wrap on my IPV V2 from Vapor Skinz.
mine will occassionally keep firing after the fire button is released...
nothing like taking a giant huff, setting your battery mod down on the table, and, notice 15-20 seconds later, vaper shooting outta the drip tip and the air intake holes of your rba...
the back plate lets juice into the inside of the mod... i over drip on occassion...
i still like it even with these issues...i just pay more attention...
having the adjustable vs spring loaded 510 isnt that big a deal for me...
i would like the strap for easy battery removal, though...(i dont charge the battery in the unit)
havent put my big boy pants on yet...22.5 watts with an rba is a great vape for me, 17 watts with a russian is magnificent...
dont sub-ohm...
warranty coverage chaps my hide a bit, though...
Well, It seems that at least one place has the sucker in stock (the 2S).
But the BS wit P4U constantly messing with the warranty is a big turn off for me.
I loved mine, but like most vape kit, I outgrew it almost immediately. I ran most of my builds right at the 50w mark, but was left wanting more so I pif'd it and obtained a Siggy 100w.....ironically, I run this at 100w/.2ohm so now I'm waiting for a 150 or 200 watt box lol. But for those that TRULY feel they will not be vaping at 50w, I highly recommend it.
Quality wise I rate the Siggy above the IPV2 in that the access panel has very strong magnets (they give you two screws, but I really don't think they would ever be necessary), and that the panel does not sit flush with the edges of the box. I also like that it takes two 18650 batteries which for those that vape deeper sub-ohms = extended battery life. I also love the way it handles the amp drop. It's a big time negative for me as well , i have never experienced a company do this before and there " take it or leave it attitude " just doesn't cut it for me.
I hear quite a few mention the Sig 100 watt is a real quality build compared to the iPV , whats your opinion since you had both.
