I ordered a set of these coils, not the Ni version from a vendor out of Hong Kong was suprised they arived pretty fast had a tank free up so after cleaning I dropped one of these in, fits fine in Tobeco Super Tank, so I assume any Atlantis style tank can use these. They recommend pretty low wattage so that's been keeping it around 35w and using a 50/50 juice, now I've only been using it a day but I gotta admit these coils are pretty good. Yet to try a flavor change while keeping the same coil in, I'd definately give them a shot if you got an Atlantis style tank.

I got some of the kanthal and ni200 cCell coils two weeks ago, still running on the first kanthal coil at 35-40w in my triton tank. I've run the tank bone dry with no burnt hits and it makes flavor change a breeze, switches over in about 5-6 puffs. You can also dry burn the coil before changing if you prefer. Flavor is much better than any other coil I've run in this tank. Pleased with them so far.

Would these also work in a full-sized Nautilus tank?

Not sure but their FAQ's state: The cCELL is compatible with Trition tanks, Altantis Tanks, ijust 2 Tanks, vapeston Maganus, freemax starre, anyvape Sega sub Tank, EleafMelo, Sense Tech Herakles, Horizon Tech Arctic etc.
Hope that helps.

I have the Target Tank and let me tell you the flavor is crisp, like a HIFI stereo. It gives you all the nuances that other tanks seem muted on. I dont like ni200 but its a really good vape, though y experience with temp control is limited I do enjoy the experience the ceramic provides.

Thanks woody. I'm going to guess the cCell heads will NOT work in this old Nautilus. No biggie. Woulda been nice to get some more mileage out
of some old gear though.

I freed up another tank, one that has 3 airflows(the coil has 3 pickups I guess we'd call them), and was a tank wasn't particularly happy with, wow...loving it now. I've not tried doing a "hack" of knocking the airflow ring off a tank yet but I bet it'd make these coils really shine.

What site/vendor in the US has these heads in stock? Bonus points if they also carry a tank that accepts them, since I don't have any.

.....or did I already ask this somewhere else? i might have. apologies if that's the case.....

I just bought a 5 pack off cCells in NI200 off Ebay for $13 and the Kanthal heads were the same price....dont know why people are paying 5 each when they are so cheap in 5 packs

damn that's cheaper than I got them from asia raymo2u
That sucks, I ordered them yesterday and they shipped out last night and will be here by Saturday, I always cruise eBay for everything and look only in USA for items, you would be surprised to find how many things you can get cheaper then most online stores (Even FT and 3fVape) on Ebay and shipping is almost always 3-4 days.

I am trying one of these coils in my Starre tank. Flavor is pretty good, but I can taste the ceramic, and it's kind of a dryer vape. Not the wet saturated taste I get from a regular coil. I like the airflow, and the vapor production. Just wondering if the flavor will improve and the ceramic taste go away? Is there a break in period? I have the same juice in my Kanger Nano, and this tank, and so far the flavor is better on the nano when I'm vaping side to side. I can taste more of the flavor backnotes with the ccell, but over it's more muted than nano. I'm really hoping these will break in, I'd love a coil that lasts longer and carried the flavor longer. So far, I'm disappointed :(

I just put one in an Eleaf iJust 2 tank. Got them both yesterday. This is my first go-round with any of these new ceramic heads.

And I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed. I'm no master coiler, but I've been building tanks and drippers for about 2-3 years now. The most "advanced" thing
I've ever done is a basic clapton. But I'm getting flavor out of this ceramic pre-built that is just as good as any coil I've made.

I didn't experience much of a break-in period. I did make sure to prime the thing REAL good though, and I let it sit in the tank for about 30 minutes. That was mostly by accident though, had to give one of our yorkies an "emergency bath." But from the get-go, I've had great flavor and vapor production. I'm running the .9 Ohm kanthal version at 30 watts (5.3 volts) on a Reuleaux rx200, not that that should make much difference.

Good luck with yours, MysticRose. It sucks that yours is giving you issues.

Thank you. It's not really issues, just not as good as other tanks. I'm comparing it on my nano because I figured that would be the fairest comparison. My crown and TFV4 are wayyyyy better. Starting to get a little better, almost 5mls through it now, Still hoping for improvement ;)

I primed mine too, let it sit for 2 hours before vaping, currently between 30-35w. I just installed and filled mine before leaving the house, and didn't try it til I got home. That way I wasn't tempted...lol. Thanks so much for the feedback, I want this to be good, just still waiting!

If it isn't any better by the time you get to the bottom of that tank, I would start wondering if it's a bad head. (insert joke here)

Or maybe the liquid intake holes are slightly obstructed by the base of the chimney? I know that this is sometimes a problem when using
these heads in an Eleaf Melo tank.

Also, what's the PG/VG ratio of your joose? I forgot to mention in my previous post that so far, I've only had the chance to use a 50/50 in mine.
But it's a slightly thicker 50/50; GoodLife Vapor's Deadly Sin. I'm about to try Fury (the new one from ANML) in mine and it's definitely VG-heavy,
so we'll see how that goes....

Thanks so much for the feedback, I want this to be good, just still waiting!

It might be slightly constricted at the base, looks pretty clear but could be wrong. I'm using 30/70 juice, so should be ok. I'll keep an eye out on the forums over the next few weeks and see if anyone else used a Starre tank with it. Or maybe I will try it in my old Atlantis, and see if it makes a difference. I think I read they fit it. I know it doesn't fit my Arctic. If so I'll try it there. If that doesn't work, guess I will decide I'm just one of those peeps...lol. Still might end up getting the mod and just using it with other coils and/or tanks. It looks like it would fit in the hand well. I'm glad you are having luck :)

And that's a negative on the Atlantis tank. The holes are actually buried more in the base of the Atantis vs the Starre. Is everyone using the coils in the Target tank, or in a different one? I'm going to vape the rest of this tank gone, then if no better, I will try with 50/50 juice to see results. I believe the coil is working in it's intended way, not getting any dry or burnt hits, and it's producing very good vapor. The flavor is just not as good as others and it's a dryer feeling vape, hard to describe but I have heard others mention the dryer type feeling. I am honestly disappointed with the flavor as that is what I was chasing.

Here are some photos I took, just in case they might be useful. The other coil is a .3 Ohm head that came with the iJust 2 tank. Has not been used. Probably never will be, heh.

The photos actually are useful. In the base of the Atlantis, only the top wicking hole is visible. And in the Starre, only the top wicking hole, and almost half of the second set are visible. So maybe these coils, even though they will fit all these tanks, just won't wick well.

I also just got my first dry hit. I am going to reserve judgement on these coils until I get the actual Target tank, or one like your iJust shows. Even though they fit the others, I don't think it's fair to judge. However, still not sure it's worth buying the mod/tank. Been hearing too many horror stories about the screen freezing, and other issues. Again, thank for your help!

MysticRose, I had the Vaporesso Target complete mod and had such high hopes for it. Unfortunately all 3 that I received had some strange computer chip issue and they all made the worst high pitched sound. Other people have had no issues at all. I loved the lifespan of those coils and never had a dry burned hit nor any spitback. The worst part for me was the dry cold vapor it produces. I started feeling thirsty so I upped my water drinking. Even with the increased water intake I woke in the middle of the night and my mouth was soooooooooo dry. Got some water, took a few good hits and went back to bed. When I woke the next morning I knew immediately something was wrong. I was just so incredibly thirsty and no amount was making it go away. Then my husband got up and looked at me for our morning kiss. His eyes got huge and said that my face was sunken in and my eyes had giant black circles around them. Went to my doctor and he admitted me right away. My entire body was being sucked of all its fluids. Stuck in the hospital for 3 days with them pushing on the I.V. bags to make it drain faster. I told him it started with the coils so I had my husband bring a different mod and tank for me to compare if there was any difference. My old set up tasted just as it should and that was the first hit in almost a week that didn't give me dry mouth. I didn't realize that I enjoy a warmer wet vape. Can you suggest any?

I'm so sorry you went through all that. Yes, I have given up on the Vaporesso coil. I had cotton mouth with it really bad too. And even after 4 days of vaping it I could still taste the ceramic. It's an extremely dry vape, I'm not sure why people are liking it. It does give it a really clear type flavor, but the ceramic flavor overwhelmed any natural flavors to me.

My favorite tank and vape so far is the Uwell Crown. (Tanks I own and have tried: Arctic, Starre, Atlantis, Nautilus, TFV4, Crown, Kanger Subtank mini and Nano) Very very good flavor, the .25 ohm coil has the best flavor in my opinion, although the .5 is a close second. Both a nice wet vape. I like a warm but not hot vape, and I vape it mostly at 35w, occasionally I will go up to 40w, but rarely. It can go much higher if you are looking for clouds, I find I get the perfect amount of flavor and a satisfying amount of vapor at that wattage for my personal tastes. It's also a quality built tank.

I just ordered a Vengeance tank that is supposed to be here on Monday. Based on peoples reviews and recommendations, it's supposedly a super quality tank and the best flavor tank they have tried. I am hoping it lives up to the hype. If not, I'll probably buy a couple more Crowns. Just because I like to have 2 set ups with different flavors going at the same time, and a 3rd to move into play when I change a coil and clean and dry a tank.

I really hope you are doing much better now, and you find a good set up for you!

damn, that sucks. I was able to snag the black and was stoked to have it compliment my three silvers and micro. Not super wild about the micro as it whistles when drawing on it. Overall they are awesome tanks with great flavor, coils last forever and really have no need to go above 60watts. The only downside is they drink juice fast so you are constantly removing tank from mod, although I have unscrewed the glass (upside down) with base still on mod and that works pretty well. Had one tank with a very tight top seal and ended up breaking the glass re-inserting, nice that they have a spare included! :)

Let me know what you think. In regards to the original thread, I got my target and enjoy it other than the pain in the ass bottom fill. Tried the ni coil and threw it out as it was constantly dry hitting. Loving the .9 coil though. Thinking about picking up a supertank or triton 2 to use them with as I would much rather a topfill. If you have any recommendations let me know :)

I've only had the vengeance for 2 days, but I absolutely love it. I want to get another. Also want to try the Supertank Mini, heard that it really good on flavor too. I think a lot is the shorter tanks, less space between the coil and mouth piece.

I hear you, my tank lineup is getting a little insane...I am also looking at the tobecco mini/full size for the hell of it... Just dropped one of my vengeances for the first time, help up well with only scratches on the lower metal, no glass break! :) Keeping my eye on drip club's site for when they restock, gonna snag a few more at $19! :) :)

the Tobeco Super Mini tank with the ccell coils is simply amazing in flavor. I have a crown and a cubis and some others and no comparison whatsoever in flavor. Really happy with the coils.

Newbie here, hi everyone. I was intrigued by the ccell and all I had read about it. Particularly that it gives very pure flavour, I'm currently vaping some amazingly layered and subtle juices by Chefs Choice and was excited I would be tasting even more nuance. First off, primed in tank overnight. Triton 2 by the way. One youtuber said his sweet spot was 33.3 watts. I got a really really nasty hit. I dropped it and messed around until I settled at about 24 watts. There remained a weird taste, probably ceramic. So two myths down. Next tank I wanted to change flavours. Read everywhere you just put in the new juice, 4 puffs and your done. Clean fresh taste of new liquid. Nope. 3rd tank of new liquid I was still tasting the first and even a bit of ceramic still. Myth 3 down. Also by this time it was gurgling. Took out the coil, gave it a bit of a clean, wiping off excess juice, stuck a Q-tip down the air passage. noticed juice dregs were very dark caramel colored in the lip of the coil. Clearly juice itself was burnt. I cleaned best I could and dry burned. Now here's something cool. You run down the tank, there's no juice left, the coil will keep vaping at least another 10 or more puffs. So it's like a secret reservoir and in that sense it's true you don't get dry hits. Anyway so now vapour tasted fine by 4th tank and juice was no longer carrying previous taste. Kind of a dry vape though. I got cotton mouth like never before. Ok. So I decided I don't love it but if it's going to last me 3 to 5 weeks at least that's not bad. Except the 4th tankful mostly leaked out. I opened again and saw the orange O ring on the coil had gotten pinched and twisted. Hmm never had that before. So O ring teased back in place and a bit of plumbers' tape wrapped for good measure I take another look inside the coil, it's black as pitch. Baked on, no way this will rinse off or self clean. Tentatively I stuck a toothpick in and scratched and pulled a little cotton out. Charred up. Where did that come from? Some ceramic coils have an outer blanket of cotton to aid wicking, maybe this was it. Regardless, for anyone counting 5 myths or claims had been debunked and since I wasn't about to vape the carbonized coil I threw it away and can't comment on longevity beyond that. Went back to conventional kanthan and cotton. Bliss.

For me, vaping the Ccell .9 coils are great with a Tobeco Super Mini tank. The trick is I put a couple of drops on the top of the coil. Then put it in. After, I put my Kangertank on 20w and blow into the air hole while holding down the button producing a vape through the tip like a reverse vape. This prevents me from having to vape those 10-15 harsh vapes I get with a new ceramic coil. After that I turn it up to 30-31w. It seems to produce a much better flavor than cotton not to mention the ceramic lasts up to 4 weeks. The only thing I don't like is the harsh vape in the beginning. It's kind of like they have a short break in period.

I got my first Target just before Christmas and my second one not long afterward. I've also used the coils in my Starre Pro, Triton, and Herakles with great results. I recently bought to Geminis as well. However, after 4 months of awesome flavor and long lasting coils, I'm suddenly getting bad hits AFTER priming the coil and getting a few good hits from it. This is happening in ALL my tanks, including my two new Geminis. I've tried tightening the coil, loosening the coil, making sure the vents are showing and that juice can get to them. I just tried Vape79's suggestion of blowing into the air hole and that will get me one good hit before it starts going bad again. I just don't understand how I am having problems after four MONTHS of using these coils. And they've spoiled me for flavor. No other coil tastes right. I'm feeling a bit panicky right now. Has ANYONE else had this issue?

Ya starshine, same with mine, using Ccells in a triton 2 first coil was amazing, best vape of my life. Chain vaped for 12 days on it until it started to lose flavour a bit. Popped in a new one after priming it, let it soak overnight and burnt nasty crap. Thought it could be air locked or something so I opened and closed fill cap a few times and got some bubbles to pop out but it just won't wick like the first coil did. I then tried a 3rd coil and same thing, horrible. Why won't it perform? Dry cotton mouth bullshit. Getting frustrated.

Just wanna add my two cents: these coils are awful. I primed them overnight, hit them with no power, and started at 5 watts (.9 kanthal). Guess what? The most awful dry & burnt hit combination. Oh and of course they don't actually fit in any other tanks besides Vaporesso's: the wick ports get blocked at the bottom otherwise.

And when it did have liquid flowing (I'm using 100% VG), it would just spit. And then leak from the air ports.

These coils are garbage. Waste of time & money. Went back to the Triton .5's and I can actually vape again.

Hi woodyt74, I have the cCell Kanthal coils for my Vaporesso Target Tank. How long should I dry burn the cCell kanthal coils for?

Question what's the difference between .9 and the .5 ohm coils? Are holes for airflow different?

If anyone has an iJust 2 tank and access to these coils I'd be interested in hearing what you think. I may buy one to see, I think throwing more air at these things gives better performance, I've not used the vaporesso tank it really didn't look all that different than rest.
These work very well in the iJust2.... totally different tank now.
