Thanks for the post. I'd be interested to hear how long your home made coil lasts. I just got a Crown tank and may start making coils in the future.

9 wraps with 26g kanthol gives me a reading of 2.09ohms think
I might go grab some thicker wire I've only ever use 26g will thicker drop the ohms ?

I have 2 Crowns & have these rbas in both. I absolutely love them! They are just as easier to build than the iSub rba for sure! In these I use a 26g Kanthal, 7 wrap for an end result of .8. I use Native Wicks rather than Japenese cotton, but the kit come with plenty of Japanese cotton however. I got mine at myvaporstore.com for around $10. It's definitely worth it if you love your crown tank!

I have one of these coming for my crown tank. Good to hear that they work well.

Grabbed some 24g Stainless steel works MUCH better than the 26 & get a reading of .29 ohms

i was using 26 and ran out, on your say i bought some 24. Do you wrap in parallel like the vid or single to get .29?

Yes i figured it out, try twisting together two 24ga or 26ga wires. A littler harder tk seat the positive pin but very nice wharm flavourful vape

Every coil I put in even store bought coils I take my little side cutters and trim them all just below the lip of the rubber grommet, this way there is 0 chance of any juice leaking out & much easier to seat. Especially on the cloud beast coils they use such thick wire idk how any juice stayed in the tank lol

for now i usually use store bought as i dont have lots of time to build them.

but every dead coil gets cleaned and “guttet” then i store all the bits in a container so now im up to around 50 “blank” coils. So if the world ran out lf crown coils i would have my own special stash of blanks.
